You will feel better by the third day make sure you drink your liquids

I was banded on the 11 and I too can eat anything I do not think I have anything in my band. I go for first full aug 21... I am young and think I heed quick and I also didn't have any hernia repairs. Congrats!!

Me too I have To go back Sometime next month It's just weird because I don't feeling anything lol.

I got my surgery on July 15 2013 And I've been having that sharp pain on my Left lower rib As well But just on my lower rib Very sharp indeed It's not an all-day And at the same time I can hear my My insides Crying But I notice when I drink something It goes away. I'm kind of freaking out on it too Because I'm scared That my band will slip:(

Hi I to just had surgery as my band slipped. The worse thing is mine was a rare slip only 2-4 percent this happens to and I was the lucky one. It's a back ward slip or something like that. I had it replaced on Monday so I am a week post op tomorrow and still in the world of hurt. But thankfully I have very Good pain relief. So I got my surgery on 15 July and I'm getting this strong pressure on My left side it comes and goes it feels like a Contraction?

First of all congratulations I guess every side effects is different I just got my surgery on the 15th and I still get these chest pains feels like your going to get a heart attack pretty scary right well the doctor said it's normal thats it's gas. But I'm still recovering good luck

How are you getting nutrition now? What are your doctors orders? I was sipping Protein shakes the next day... admittedly I did not want to eat ot drink anything.

My doctors said only Clear liquids like broths But I don't want to drink that feel grossed out

I think you should get both just in case you need it

I got my surgery in Mexico and they didn't say anything about Protein Shakes but my cousin got her surgery in the US and said that Protein shakes are okay? So is it okay to drink protein shakes right now I just got my surgery on 15 July?
