Thanks for your response JKG.... I purchased Successful Weight Loss With The Gastric Sleeve by Dr. Guillermo Alvarez. The books has a lot of good information and answers many of the questions I have. One of the things I learned that some people cannot tolerate seeds, especially in the first four months.

I'm curious, are tiny seeds from blueberries & raspberries dangerous in the first months after surgery???

My Surgeon just sent the paperwork to my insurance company. The plan is to have my lap-band removed, wait six weeks and have sleeve surgery. I'm hoping that I won't have to jump through hoops to get approval! -
