Like you I love my liquids, I'm not going to lie @ six weeks out its a bit of a struggle to get 64oz of liquid a day. It is an adjustment no more guzzling its a slow and steady sip. Do I miss soda yes, do I miss gulping an ice cold water yes, do I miss the 50lbs I've lost so far, No!

I have the NYC workers plan and Had my surgery thru NYU Langone medical center they accept it. You have to pay a 300$ deductible and you have to be on a medically supervised diet for 4 months which I did thru the surgeons office. Out of pocket costs included a 250$ fee for the nutritionist and a 250$ fee for the psychologist. In my opinion worth every penny. Good luck to you!

Does anyone have a small lump around your belly button where the mesh was placed? I had an umbilical hernia repaired and have a small lump just wondering if this is normal? Thanks.

Cpap is like a drug once you learn to use it you wont want to stop! I'm 5 weeks postop and I'm trying to slowly ween myself off of it. Lol -
I'm guilty of this as well but at week 5 it's getting a little bit better.

Yep. You wouldn't believe how dry my mouth was before I got rid of my CPAP. That, along with constantly blowing my mouth open were signs, to me, that my pressure was too high. . Thanks Cornhusker I guess I'll try a night without the darn thing, I'm so used to it I'm afraid to let it go kind of like an old pillow. Lol

Just curious was anyone getting dry mouth before ditching cpap, is this a sign the pressure is too high? Thanks.

It's normal, once your able to eat solids you'll be able to better gauge real hunger from head hunger I'm in the learning stage of this myself. Good luck! -

This is a tough question because taste is a high individualized thing for example I don't care for premier Protein and alot of folks here swear by it. My two choices taste wise are Syntrax nectar Cookies and cream and muscletech from Vitamin shoppe are pretty good. Protein wise Body fortress whey has 30 g per scoop and premiere protein ( I can only stomach the vanilla) has 30 g protein per 11 0z container. -

I actually received a letter from my insurance company. -
Went to the ER, wasn't fun My bowels were impacted which also shut down my bladder. So they had to use a catheter and they manually unimpacted me! Back home today and feeling like a million bucks.

I have this real bad today, I tried 2 suppositories, 2 shots of milk of magnesia and 2 dulcolax tabs plus an enema and I'm hunched over in pain should I go to the ER?

You can do better than the premier protein, I might get in trouble for saying this but it's utterly over rated the stuff tastes like crap and this is only my opinion I tried liking the stuff and tried all 3 flavors vanilla being best out of the bunch and bought it at Costco without tasting it first. Sorry for not liking the almighty premiere protein this how much I dislike this stuff. Good luck! -
Bake the wings and make your wing sauce and put in Tupperware together and shake and you have semi healthy wings
