I had lapband surgery in April of  2013  and lost 98 pounds. I had about 28 to go to reach my goal. I plateaued there.   Over the years I gained  60 pounds back.  We just couldn't seem to get the band adjusted right for it to be effective.   On July 31st of 2019 I had my lapband removed due to abdominal pain issues.    On October 9th I had vertical gastric sleeve revision surgery  and so far it seems to be a great decision.
