I am from MA and we have Romney care. It did take a while for the computers to get going, 2 years. Because of Romney care, my husband is alive, I have wonderful health insurance, my MIL can afford her meds.
Everyone has to give it a try. Nothing is perfect for everyone.

I miss that at times too. I have been out with family as they are "chowing down" and I kind of missed being able to enjoy a hearty/hefty meal. My smaller belly doesn't miss it though.

Hi Terry,
Just got off the phone with my hubby a little while ago, and you know he said the same thing to me. "I miss eating".
I can understand that, but in the same breath we are both grateful for the band restriction.

I agree Terry and I think most of us have that problem. I eat every two hours only because my blood sugar drops. Maybe it would help if you did the six small meals every two hours instead of three meals. I know it makes a difference in how I feel. Hate that blood sugar dropping feeling.

Never be tempted by the wonderful smell of yeast, butter and syrup. I stick to my oatmeal with egg whites or a protein shake. I guess you could have whipped them up in the Ninja and had a waffle shake. ;-0

Sharpie I won't lie, I got stuck several times the first couple of days. In the end, I had to treat it like a fill, not being able to eat solids in the morning, taking very small bites and waiting. Once I did that I was fine.

The real NSV for me is this as I was trying on clothes and asking my wife's opinion, a couple of times she asked me if I was sucking my gut in, and I kept saying no. I finally had to suck it in to show her, and her eyes got really wide

Oh my, you are looking good in that biking outfit! Great job. and those wolf whistles from your wife are well deserved!

Isn't nice that you can go to a store and not worry it is not going to fit or have to go to a plus size for (women) or big & tall or larger size specialty stores . good for you and if you, your wife ,kids and band(mistress) are giving you the bells & whistles sort of speak then keep on keepin on biking and doing what you do I know you are feeling good .

I have to admit, seeing the look on my boyfriend's face whenever I buy something he likes is ALMOST as much fun as actually buying it. You look great btw!

We were at a POW WOW and there was a turquoise dealer and my wife was looking at necklaces, each one she looked at was more expensive than the previous one, and she kept telling the guy how she couldn't afford to spend that much finally he got to the last necklace, gave her a killer deal that was still more than the others and she turned it down. So I stepped over and bought it for her.

Kime, my wife and I are the two hardest people on the planet to buy gifts for, me? Because if I want something, I go out and buy it. Her? She never wants anything.
