Ok a bit if good news bad news for me altho I'm losing weight my husband is stacking it on :-( it's my fault I still cook to much food and he all ways goes back for seconds or finishes my left overs or he adds bread to his plate 2-4 slices . How can I tell him his eating to much when he never complained about my weight .Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk
Are you cooking healthier? Maybe cook less? I am lucky to have just me to worry about. I think you should talk to him. I think communication is the biggest part of a relationship. It's mostly in the delivery.

If you are blending it can be the air that is whipped into the shake. I would also suggest trying a pre made one.

When I am at work I just stay so busy I'm not really hungry. So when I get home I eat dinner' date=' an I'm good. But I'm trying, I just need to get to where I was before with the band. I'm at 7.5 and still feel no restrictions. I'm not giving up just need to do it ![/quote']Maybe it's not the restriction but not eatting when supposed to and the right foods. You are not supposed to be eatting only one meal. For starters it is very unhealthy. Maybe you need together back to basics and follow your doctors guidelines.

You will always hear negatives along with the positives, but if you set out looking for negatives you will always find them. I am 4 years banded and no problems I did not cause myself. A lot of the negatives you read about are mostly likely a good part user error.

Why are you not eating during the day? That is very unhealthy for anyone If you are too tight you need to get some removed. As far as how much you eat you really should have guidelines from your doctor and or nutritionist. lf you do not have them you really should call your doctor. It also is very important to track and measure everything you eat.

The only way to know is to call your insurance company and make some appointments with surgery. Unfortunatley everyone is different. I wish you the best of luck no doubt losing weigh will definetly help you have less pain.

my first thing that i HAD to change was my attitude
if i went into this (surgery) with a what if i cant' date=' what if that, what if this, i would have been in for a long ride.....the first thing i changed was ME...i told myself if i was able to get my insurance to approve this surgery, and find a great doctor, that i would do whatever it took to help myself..sure i failed in the past and this was my (last stand)..once i changed my attitude from woe is me and i cant to I WANT.....it was game on.......and i can see the end zone from here..[/quote']

Thanks Jackie' date=' I think i may have to scour the forums for all the different responses, which i don't mind, since the place if loaded with info, and i'll probably learn even more. However, for this post I will go first.Head Hunger - In the past when i have defeated head hunger whether one time, or for even one day was when i kept myself busy with something I liked. I wished I was then strong enough to constantly hold it back but I was not. However, with some of these techniques plus the band, I believe i can do it. So:
Issue: Head Hunger
Response - get busy with a hobby. (mine is woodworking with my scroll saw)[/quote']
A lot of times head hunger means you need Water so make sure to drink when you feel this way.

I've quit before and didn't crave it but then I ended up going back to it and I'm more addicted to diet coke now than ever before! I just got approved for the band this week so I'm kind of having everything I know I won't be able to have once I start the pre-op diet and get the band and that's probably bad but it's working for me! I'm realizing that I don't even like the bad food (especially fast food) once I order it and am eating it but for some reason when I'm hungry I always want that first. Now when I'm hungry I'm actually thinking about what food I'm wanting and remembering that I don't even really like it when I get it! Soda is another story though...I'll just have to quit cold turkey! It is pretty scary hearing that it's as addictive as smoking and I definitely believe it!In my opinion carbonated drinks is one of the most important thing to quitin te beginning. Your doctor might let you have some later, but you need to heal first. Please do not start this journey putting your band at risk. It is the absolute wrong way to start.
Is nutrisystem band friendly
