    Protein Bars

    Ok so I just want to let you know what my nutritionist said. She says they have a ton of fiber and some of them have sugar alcohol so they can cause stomach issues and cramping. They have about 17 grams of fiber. I tried one of the peanut kind and it was so horrible I could not finish it. I also bought some different flavors. Can't wait to try the strawberry cheesecake. I would not use this on a daily basis or for a meal replacement. I use it only after full body workouts. As for shakes. I can't stand them and they can't stand me and the calories add up to fast if you add anything like banana or peanutbutter. Thanks for the suggestion but I am looking for high protein bars.

    Best things you can do are take gas-x chewables or strips and walk walk walk as much as you can!!!! Congrats on your big day!!

    That is so awesome!! I just packed up all my 3x and over and half of my 2x!!! I have never in my life packed up my fat clothes knowing I will never need them again!!!!!

    Make sure you get enough protein and also you can try biotin. Protein most important!!!

  10. I felt that way and eventuall called my doctor who let me start blended canned soups. I suggest if you feel that bad and you are drinking a lot of water maybe call your doctor.

    Surgeon didnt recommend a first fill

    Yes please check out Missy's link!! If you do not need a fill please dont get one. I have a friend who has lost 75 lbs so far since mid December with no fills. I also met someone at a group who lost around 150 with no fill. Not everyone needs fills. Wish I didnt would make my journey so much easier because I usually end up tight and have to get unfilled.

    Almond Milk?

    I use blue diamond unsweetened vanilla almond milk in the refrigerated section. 30 calories a cup. I can barely taste the differrence between that and skim milk!!

    Natural peanut butter with nothing added is 200 calories for 2 tbls. It has protein but I would not consider it a lot. I was eating it but decided I was not willing to use those calories. I mix a lot of different raw and sprouted nuts and mix in my yogurt or have for a snack but not every day. I saw somewhere. That sunflower seed butter is healthiest. When I want peanut butter I mix pb2 with a little almond milk, sweetener or little honey, and dash of salt.

Thanks for the links. I could not tell from the first one, but the second is too many calories for me. I actually decided not to a shake. Looking for a good bar for after workouts. Every time I drink a shake I get terrible pain in my left shoulder and when I add ingredients it just raises the calories.
  18. I am looking for a low calorie vanilla (powder) shake with somewhere around 25 protein and very low sugar and fat and inexpensive. This is for after my workouts. Thank you inadvance.

    If you area using Jello brand brand mix a whole box has 1200 sodium. That is very close to what you should have in entire day. Also the ricotta has additional sodium. Just FYI.
