  1. Vegans' date=' I'm going to be in the exact same position you are now - your info is music to my ears![/quote']

Honestly just breathing clearer and better in general day and night .. Weird I never considered that could happen because of the hernia but I am beyond thrilled . I feel free

  2. I was sleeved 7/22 and have a hard time getting in all my Water too . You may want to take a gas x strip before eating to get rid of the air - that might be your problem .. If you sleeve is full of air it's uncomfortable to eat . You may be someone that unintentionally swallows a lot of air while eating ? Also , don't drink out of straws - gives you a lot of air as well

  3. Met my husband on matchmaker.com I would never have run into him the normal way ( lived in different towns/ totally different work etc)

I dated a lot and Just had fun with it too ,.. Look at it like you are expanding your network and friends and you will be fine.

  4. how do u know if it head hunger or real hunger?????HELP

I believe mine is head hunger because my stomach isn't growling or anything I'm just obsessing over how good food looks and tastes but then I'm full quick .. My dr says just drink Water Water water and do an activity to get your mind off it . I find my mouth is salivating as I watch the food channel ( crazy ) . Dr says my mind is trying to get me to think about food all the time to put back on weight bc it doesn't know how to stop the weight loss that is occurring . Ahhh ....

  5. I'm almost 6 wks out sleeved July 22 .. I feel hungry on and off throughout the day and fantasize about food / recipes . I sit down to eat thinking "I'm starving " and inevitably start eating too fast and feel full after 5 bites and miserable. I know this must be head hunger .. I try to drink but can't get my mind of all the good things I would like to eat ;( this part is frustrating for sure. I'm going to join the gym snd try to stay busier ?!

  6. Also' date=' I'd really like to know if any of you could share your post-op diets with me. I am also 5 weeks post-op, but I'm having a hard time with my diet. I have not lost the amount that I had expected.

    Thank you,

    Hanna xx[/quote']

  7. I was sleeved July 22 ( so will be 1 month out this Monday).. I'm down 25 lbs post surgery :) im no longer sore but still get exhausted after a full day . I am eating lots of Soup , yogurts, shakes, maybe 2 soft ravioliis. I have a hard time with dry solids .. Tried to eat salmon and suffered terribly after 3 bites .. Such tightness in my chest ! Still trying to get all my liquids in everyday - its tough ! Going back to work Monday - haven't told most people at work , so hoping it won't be awkward ( I have decided to tell everyone because I'm happy with my decision and what do I really care? )

  8. Pure encapsulations - it is a great multivitamin' date=' not a cheap one ... but really helps to bust your health. They are capsules and you can pop it open - mix the powder with fluids or food as long as it is not warm or hot. Great option if you are looking for a really good one.[/quote']

What is the name on the bottle of Vitamins you take - desperate for a decent Vitamin ( also do you take 1 or 2 a day??)

  9. Hi my name is Crystal. I was also sleeved on July 22nd. Today I had breakfast- scrambled eggs with cheese ' date='lunch- 3 grilled shrimp and about 9 bites of a piece of chicken, dinner-about 2 or 3 oz of chicken with cheese and then for a later snack I had a string cheese. Cheese helps everything go down so much better for me. I was out in puréed straight out if the hospital and told to do soft foods now . I am only allowed Protein right now meat, cheese and eggs. No veggies no fruits and no carbs for quite some time![/quote']

    Hi crystal ,

Sounds like you are like me and are able to eat without too much issue. I think you said you were also sleeved 7/22? How much have you lost since surgery ? I'm down 17 lbs but haven't lost a single pound in 5 days .. Weird ?
