I had my band removed in Novemeber 2005 after having it for 18 months and losing 104 lbs. I just joined weight watchers last week, I do not want to gain my weight back. I had put back on 4 lbs in the last 10 months and I want to get to my goal weight and not let this 4 get to 40 before I decide to do something.. If you need any support just drop me a note, we can do this together. Iam enjoying WW, it is easy and I feel great this past week. I feel as if I have lost 5-6 lbs all ready. I have my first weigh in on Tuesday to see what I lost the first week. I always had my doubts about WW but I actually am enjoying it. I was told by Dr. Ortiz that there was no set protocol for post op diet put out by Inamed so each Dr. makes up their own.Of course when Ortiz proctors another Dr. he will advise them on the post op dioet he uses. My Dr. seems to have the longest liquid phase 2 weeks Clear Liquids and 1 week full liquids then 2 weeks soft foods and then at week 6 solids. He firmly beleives in having the band set in place and all the swelling down before putting in any food he doesnt not want the band or the stitches to move in any way with the digestion process of food.

junk food always goes down easier, if you can not eat meats, or veggies I would say you are still too tight. Consider having some fill removed, goingfrom 2.5 to 2.3 will make a huge difference in being able to eat solids yet still lose weight, it is only .2 cc's. Remember the band was designed to be able to still eat health solid foods. if you can not do that then you are too tight and I am sure your doctor will agree.

Please make sure you have this checked..it could mean a number of things. I once had a bleeding ulcer and would spit up blood from time to time..
