Just a suggestion have your doc write a note stating you have specific dietary needs when traveling, therefore your foods must b purchased at the grocery stores. Can't hurt good luck

    HR blabbed to my supervisor!

First don't say anything to anyone at work get a free consult from an arty then go from there. No threatening emails never let your right hand know what your left hand is doing. Your rights have been violated the fact that your manager told you that you will never be treated or reviewed fairly. You hve a case I know in California this is not tolerated. Good luck.

    African American Sleevers

I was sleeved 10/29/12 I am in my 5 th month. I am in agreement with some of the comments. It is crazy in my opinion to expect people to eat like u do if they have not had surgery. This is your journey not your family or friends. I did not go out to eat for 3 mos and when I did I took my food with me this was past the mushie stage. In order Tb successful you must commit to yourself and the process. I did not lose any weight until after my first doc visit. While in the hospital I retained fluid. I never had any complications. I hve lost 57 lbs I am a slow loser and I accept that I hve lost inches like crazy. In my 4 th month I began exercising why did I wait so long? I wanted my body to heal, I don't compare myself to anyone on the boards. My wish for all stay committed to yourself and the process don't rush remember it is not about the weight it is about how you will function as a healthier you. Stay focus hear what your body is saying, anticipate stalls enjoy the journey. If u would like to talk further email me on foodnoproblem@gmsil.com good luck.

    A new direction for Gypsy!

  13. You must get all your proteins and water no matter what. I am 4 mos out and I have just been able to get all my proteins in. Even if you do not feel like eating your body has changed so eating will have a different effect on your body now. How many months are you post op? ONE of the biggest mistakes people make is looking at others. Set your goals for yourself and keep your eye on the prize. Good Luck

    Introducing myself

You are in for a wonderful journey I am 4 months out and I have lost 50 lbs and I love my sleeve I am losing hair but I really dont care, it will grow back. So for my journey has been nothing less than great. While you are waiting I suggest you take the time and truly understand how you got where you are, set goals and plans for your success. But understand you must allow the professionals and the process to do what it does. In other words it takes time and work. I am excited for your and best of luck feel free to ask questions

    stupid stall

Hang in there it will happen. I don't weigh but once a month so I don't have to deal with the stalls and ups and downs. I am 4 months out, losing my hair 50 lbs down. I too can eat more and have been, I just concentrate on my proteins and water. But loving my sleeve
