I like flat pop. In particular I love diet A&W, flat. As long as I stir the carbonation out of it to have a cup a day, what's the big deal?

I was dx with MS in 2007. It's relapsing remitting. I've been mostly stable. It's terribly scary at first but you adjust. It isn't a death sentence. You will be okay.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm fine with loose skin vs the alternative. I'm just excited about the tummy tuck!

I have SO much support and picture takers it's finally sunken in. I'm seeing what they're seeing. I have many many photos to compare side by side. It's hard to deny the change.

I'm almost 9 mths out, down 104 lbs. I'm almost 50 (that hurts to say that lol). My skin is doing well, surprisingly. I have somewhat of the turkey neck but oddly enough, proud of it! It sure beats chin upon chin. My thighs have bought the farm mostly but it's not horrible. My tattoos on my ankle have gotten smaller and the skin on my calves is great! It's a small price to Pay and we all anticipated it. Don't worry about it. It's a badge of honor!!!

I've lost 124 lbs now. I'm in a size 12-14. I go to the BMI calculator. That's a kick in the face and worse than a scale! Mine is 32...still obese. Talk about a downer! Avoid the bmi calculator if you are sensitive to a beat down.

my mom died end of April. I have zero interest in food since. What I try to eat A hurts and B makes me sick. Diarrhea daily for almost 2 weeks (how does your body producte BM with hardly any food? About the only thing I can tolerate is a few ounces whole chocolate milk. Pretty sure I'm dehydrated too.
I've lost 6 lbs since yesterday at 5 am.
I am trying to cope but refuse to have the meltdown I need. Idk what to do.

    So.....

Name one guy, JUST ONE, who is looking at your torso when there are nekkid boobs out AND a warm mother earth place for his wiggly worm.
I've been married for 20 years (two months and 6 days) and I can tell you my husband can't even begin to describe the birth mark above my belly button due to BOOBS.
    BOOBS.
    That's all he sees. Seriously.

I know the feeling Tri having a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil before a meal it will help the food slide easier and eat slower.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I know it's hard to eat, but starving yourself will not help, just as stuffing yourself wouldn't have helped in the old days. Since you have no desire to eat, can you at least try to drink Protein shakes? Maybe if you have 3 or 4 of them a day, just like during the pre- and post-op weeks, you can still get some nutrition while you struggle with your grief. And as other have said, call your doctor to make sure you'll be okay. When we lost my Dad, my Mom had trouble coping for a long time until she went to a few bereavement sessions offered by our local hospice. Somehow they really helped her deal with her emotions and she was able to start functioning again. Of course her grief didn't go away, but it was a big step for her. We wish you all the best and offer our support during this very difficult time.

Try calling your surgeons office. They may be able to give advice over the phone. I had a band in 2004. Applesauce and thin oatmeal seemed to sit well when nothing else did. I am sorry for your loss and I pray things get easier soon.

@@MissLiss, I LOVE Born shoes. So cute and comfy. And when I was finally down below a size 40 band size, I went straight to VS and bought two new bras. They are almost too big so I will have to get fitted again and will happily spend $100 on two more and so on until I am at goal. They are the best bras and I decided no more Walmart bras -- too many years I bought those ones "while am losing weight" and didn't lose the weight. Now I'm buying pretty ones!

@@libbyyum I haven't been comfortable of confident in heels for years but my boss and best friend steered me toward them. We went to DSW and I saw a pair of heels I loved. When I told her that although I could walk a few steps in the store I did not see myself wearing them to work. She suggested I check out the wedges...so I did. I found the Born Wedges to be comfortable and sturdy and branched out from there. I'm still not going to run in them but I do wear them regularly for my work day and I feel a little sexier in them
Following that trip she told me we could go to lunch anywhere I wanted to and I told her i wanted to go to DSW-lol. I bought the high heels i loved the first day for myself and they are still in my closet waiting.

I had to get measured too. I was shocked. I went from a 38 dd to a 38 C! I kept saying "did you say C???"
I still had doubts when I brought it home. It was so tiny. I'll be damned the cute little thing fit and even held in the side boobs
Now I have this very flimsy white tee I got on big clearance at Kohl's. Double v neck. I put it on over my cute little pink striped bra and wore it that way. It's padded so there was no nippleage. I felt sexy and I'm far from sexy. Throw your change in a jar ladies. Save up for a VS purchase. Feel sexy too.

THAT may be one of the biggest things I'm looking forward too... I hope the girls, rib cage etc shrink enough for me to fit.
All my married life -- VS came into being after I'd been married a while... Hubby walks by and says "come on try one on... " He has no idea how humiliating that statement is.. They don't make them big enough for me... so NOW.... Surgery 5/18..... I'll be so sad if I can't SHOP THERE.....
