I'm right there with you JustWatchMe. I just stopped having a caramel mocha every morning, caffeine, sodas, dairy and refined sugar. Started this process last week and I felt angry! Lol
I'm definitely in a better place this week and I feel like I can go on (in my Celine Dion) voice.

Beauty' date='That is a shame about PB! I called just to ask some questions and I thought it was strange that the rep "was not in" and would call me later. I guess I just assumed anyone could tell me about price, etc. And, it took them a full week to call me back. Ridiculous![/quote']
Smh! Well check this out. If they tell you they are out again or they are on the phone, ask for the manager and I guarantee magically they will appear... I cant tell you how many times I had to do that. It just burns me up!
Listen, I have no doubt they are overworked but dont label them advocates if they wont advocate and get your arse off of tv if you dont have the manpower needed to sustain the business. At the end of the day they billed my insurance $50k just for the surgery! (And heck, I was in the surgery center for only 6 hours!)And although I know insurance reduces the amount they payout to the organization, I know they are making money hand over fist! Smh again!

Hello I live in Suwanee GA I am scheduled to be sleeved tomorrow Oct. 7th. Dr. Titus Duncan' date=' Peachtree Bariatrics. I am a little nervous and excited[/quote']Well I used Peachtree Bariatrics for my surgery. Dr. Titus Duncan to be exact and let me say this, put in ur mind fat factory. Do not expect any proactively past your first couple of visits and post surgery if you call the answering service dont expect them to call you back at all. Lastly, I had surgery back in February and they not once called me for a follow up visit.

Hi everyone Im a 30yr old' date=' just got my panniculectomy approved through Kaiser here in So. Cal. I have a lot of excess skin in the stomach area. I went from weighing as much as 409lbs 3yrs ago to now a 215lbs. Seen my plastic surgeon 1st week of May & yesterday (9/23) i finally got the call to setup up my surgery day. Feeling nervous & anxious all at the same time. Was wondering if anyone has had this procedure performed? and if yes i want to hear hoe the progress is going? Thanks.[/quote']This is a great post. I am in the Process of determining if this is what I wanna do but I want to hear how it was and see pics! Hope someone chimes in!

Its not really possible to get in the necessary calories with only 3 meals a day. I have been doing 5 meals a day bc the reality is that my meals are the size of Snacks. Smh. Loving my sleeve...had to throw that in!

I dont know that I would consider myself a slow loser but the weight loss has certainly slowed down. I am 6.5 months out and down 75 lbs. I've been fluctuating up and down by 3 lbs which is pretty normal. Im feeling good about my success and looking forward to working off this last 50lbs. Yeah!

I can definitely eat more now' date=' but nowhere near a normal portion size. Its definitely a source of concern for me also. I just really try to stay away from rice, Pasta, and breads. If I eat dinner and Im still hungry, I fill up on veggies. I guess it's about making the right choices...which can be difficult to do.[/quote']
I can eat more but its still not enough to sustain my current and certainly not my previous weight. I to keep reminding myself what an average size plate is and I think our perception of normal might be a bit skewed.

Yes' date=' just lately, I'm feeling more and more discouraged. I know I need to step up my activity though so put the blame on myself. It's a race....We're halfway there...the last half is always the hardest....we can't give up!!The last 2 months have been 5 pounds each month- ouch! What has it been for the rest of you? I was thinking it was always going to be about 10 pounds. Silly me?!
[/quote']
You're pretty much dealing with the average trend. Im 6.5 months post op and Im losing 5-6 lbs a month now and Im having to work for them...hard! Lol I do notice that when I change up my exercise routine that I notice a difference in inches as well as in how much I lose. Hang in there...it will come up...slower than before, but it will come off.

I believe I overheard a convo at my physicians office about this and they may accept Medicaid. I would try Emory first but Dr. Titus Duncan with Real Results may accept.
