  1. Whatever feels good to you is what you should stop at. For your height your healthy bmi is quite a bit lower, but that doesn't mean that's what you should aim for. Based on your pictures I think around 200-190 would have you looking great and still not looking too thin, but hey, if you get there and aren't happy you could always put on a few pounds to get back up a little more.

    excess skin

I have loose skin, but I haven't worked out as much as I should have to minimize it. I am happy with it because it's still better than the fat was. If you're really worried about it, I suggest that you start working out asap and do a lot of toning all throughout your weight loss.
  3. Sounds like you are doing awesome! You have the right idea, walk, walk, walk is the road to a quick recovery!

    7months of changes w/pics

You look incredible =) What a difference 7 months can make!
  5. I'm not sure the exact name of the repair my surgeon did, but I had a hiatal hernia and it was repaired at the same time. I don't think that I had any additional recovery time or issues due to the repair. I actually didn't even know I was going to have it until it was already done, though he had let me know it was a possibility.

    Im stuck

Sounds like you're probably dehydrated. One bottle of water is really little for a day, so you should probably work on getting more in. I know it's hard, but sip sip sip all the time. You don't wanna end up in the hospital.
  7. Will keep you in my thoughts! Hope it goes great =)

    NSV fail

I'm trying to learn to love my bat wings until I can afford to get them taken off =p But you're not alone, I have joined the club too!
  10. Haven't noticed any changes, but I'm still under a year out. In fact, I lost my left eye contacts which are worse than my right and substituted my lower rx right ones for a month and could see just find with the lower strength. Let us know if you find out anything more about it.

    Bad Experience...

Hello fellow Michigander! I am pretty sure I have an idea at least about which hospital you're talking about. I would not settle for having my procedure in a place like that. I had mine in Ypsilanti with Dr. Taylor and the rooms were clean, the staff is amazing, and he is a fabulous doctor, if you're still looking for another one. I'm ten months out, no problems, and the office has been great for me the whole way. I would recommend them to anyone. Anyway, no matter what you choose - don't settle for a dirty facility - trust your gut!
  14. Hang in there! Some people are just dumb and mean. But you know you are awesome and you rock and have lost weight, so keep your head up high! I don't think I've ever used the line, but I love "At least I can lose weight, you'll always be a jerk." or maybe a comment about "Yeah...I've still got some left to go, but the 140 I have lost has made quite a difference, thanks for noticing" that will make them feel dumb and like a total jerk for saying anything.
