It'll get better hand in there. Maybe you rest a little more than you are right now. I know I rested a lot during the fist week sometime your body needs the rest to heal. Hope you feel better soon.

I agree with everyone else do it for yourself! If your sister can't be there and your husband decided he wants nothing to do with it. Find a ride from the.hospital and make sure you stock up on your food and you will be fine. When I came home from the hospital I was on my own my husband had to work and no one else.was around. That's great news! I had the same thing happen A1C was 8.9 and.meds.were making it worse for me. I got it down to 6.5 by exercising and diet and before.surgery it was 6.3 had surgery 2 weeks ago yesterday and waiting for the blood work results from today. Good luck!

Don't feel guilty you have your reasons to why you are having it done. I had mine done on the 13 th of September. I was 174 and am now 161. I too did it for health reasons. When is your surgery?

Believe it or not I get a runny nose... Lol!

I'm 4'11 and before I considered the surgery I was 206. Then I got to 196 then thru dietitian to 184 day of surgery 174.8 But in reality I needed the surgery because of the diabetes. after trying different medications and all of them making me really sick and felt worse than ever and not being able to control it ( one day it was 370 then drops to 60 ) my Dr. Suggested the sleeve would help me. I am so glad I did have it done. My sugar has been in the low 70's ever since I left the hospital. And I feel.good.

Okay ladies im back from my 2 week post op. Appt. He has cleared me for stage 3 of food and all vitamins. He also cleared me to all my activities including going to the gym. He told me to listen to my body and slow down if I needed to. I've lost 12 lbs. Since surgery. He said I was doing good. But overall was impressed that my blood sugars have been so good always under the 100's since surgery. I have about 40 lbs. To lose and I will be at goal. I also scheduled an appointment with the dietitian for later on today. I had blood work done in hopes that I can soon be off high blood medicine and off.cholesterol meds. Wish me luck. I returned to work a week after my surgery.

I took Toothbrush Lotion I wore something comfy to the hospital and wore that home. I took my phone and like others I was not in the mood for anything. I didn't even take a gown because with.the iv I wouldn't have been able to put it on. I just wore another robe on my back.

I've been on a stall too. I'm not too worried. I see the dr. Tomorrow ill see what the dr. Suggest.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I wish I could go to one. But I always 10am-12 noon then again in the evening 6pm-8pm. Please keep sharing.

How did you make the egg sandwich? Can't wait till this weekend when I can start eating eggs...

What procedure are you having done? I had the sleeve and went back to work 1 week after surgery.
