    would you do it again?

Yes, definitely. I had the surgery on Oct 5, 2012. The pain wasn't great, but, I've definitely had worse. I would easily do it again. My only regret is that I didn't do sooner...

    Plateau over!

Congrats! Woo Hoo...so happy for you.
  9. Yes! I am finally out of the 340's...lost 9lbs since last doctor visit 2 wks ago. I'm now @9.5cc's....so excited. The plateau is over!

  10. Thanks so much for your kind words! Its true I could be gaining weight like I was pre-band; so it could definitely be worse. This darn plateau is just so frustrating! But, like everyone else, I will persevere.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis almost a year ago. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced. Just keep taking your meds & try and get some rest. Also, stay hydrated! Hope you feel better soon!

    Chewable protein supplements?

Has anyone tried any kind of chewable protein tablet or gummie bear? I just can't stomach the shakes anymore. Despite my best intentions, its been a struggle to make sure I get the protein that I need. Any suggestions?
  13. I eat 1100 cals a day per my nutrtionist. I'm just hard on myself so I really need to relax & keep going forward.
  14. Thanks everyone. I tend to be my own worst critic so I sometimes forget that before the band, I would have been gaining weight. Thanks for the reminder!
  15. I'm not usually a complainer, but, I just don't know what I may be doing wrong. I have read other peoples testimonies & they seem to be losing weight at a faster rate than me. I know everyone loses at their own pace & believe me I've always been a slower "loser" than everyone else. I'm just so afraid of failing my band. I was starting to have some health issues as a result of my obesity; so I don't want to fall back into old habits. I have spoken with my doctor & he assures me that I am doing everything correctly. I do exercise, get my proteinn, drink water(although I could probably increase that amount) & stick to my diet. But, still, I hover around the 340's. Any suggestions?
