I would definitely wait until you are at goal, or at least near goal. It might make a difference in your tattoo's final position. It would be a bummer to get it done, and then wish later that it was in a slightly different place!

OMG 56 pounds in 5 weeks? what are you doing that is awesome. Im 5 weeks post-op and lost only 22 pounds + 10 from one week before surgery with liquids a total of 32

Everyone loses weight differently and at different rates. I lost 50 lbs very fast after surgery and then it slowed to a crawl going weeks without the scale moving. Some of you slow losers might pick up speed later. Don't compare yourselves with others, just concentrate on what you're doing. It will all pay off for everyone in the long run.

I dont snore now...that was one of the first things my husband mentioned...he teased me by saying he didn't know I was in the bed with him and he liked it when I snored...LOL! I don't need my C-Pap machine either...Yippee!

I totally understand how you feel. It is very upsetting to know after two bites youre done and I am still trying to figure out how I will deal with this if I am in a large crowd. Fortunately, I have not been out to eat often and the few times that I did...I just made an excuse of not being very hungry and took my soup/veggies home. I have not told anyone about this surgery except my husband...no family and most definitely no coworkers! I guess I have trust issues too...LOL!

I am a recent sleeve patient - July 2nd and at about two weeks out I was full of regret just simply due to not being able to eat...now that I am soft foods it is not that bad. I like seafood and get to eat it so I am satisfied. I still find myself feeling as if I have not eaten enough because I can get full off of 3 or 4 bites. I am coming to grip with this is how it is for now and will possibly change later.

Its funny because this morning I left the house without telling my hubby I was leaving. He was asleep and I was running late for my nail appointment and to top it off I forgot my cell phone at home charging. Well an hour and a half later while I was heading home, I saw him at a light, and I asked where are you going and he said..."To look for my wife"...ROTFL...that was so funny to me because I really wasn't gone that long and I figured he would still be sleep by the time I return...guess I was wrong!

I am already receiving attention and its only been 6 days...LOL! Enjoy it. I feel like its a whole new me. I was also thinner when we me (but not when we got married) but the bottom line is he married me for me. Thin or thick...Im still me and as far as I can see he truly appreciates me for me. My weight is an issue only for me...he made a comment this morning that he liked it better when we could eat together...LOL!
Enjoy the attentiion...it can only make your relationship stronger.

Too funny I had to laugh out loud...I think you are fine as long as the conversation is innocent. You know when things are getting out of line and if the line of innocence is being crossed. So, ultimately it is up to you to keep the conversation clean and the other party on the straight and narrow if needed. I am far from an expert but I am married and this is something I would tell my own husband...

What do you consider cheating? I ate three shrimp for lunch and was wondering if I was cheating but I didnt hurt and my sleeved liked it...

I had a BMI of 39.7 and I am eight days out and have lost 12 pounds. I will go to the doctor on tomorrow for my first post op visit...so hopefully his scale says the same or something lower:)

Well you will do great! I believe in the power of pray as well. I asked God to make my surgery the best textbook example and he must have a sense of humor because he did just that. The doctor post op commented on how perfect my sleeve was...I said Thank You Jesus!...LOL! Well I have the same prayer for you today! It is done...Amen and Amen!

Too funny...you can always look for some on sale that are maybe a little too tight and watch as they loosen up...that's what I plan on doing...lol!

Today makes my one week post op and I feel a little sore but relatively normal. You will see that things get wayyyy better real soon! Just make sure you are sipping. I bought a toddler sippy cup the ones for 12 months and up because it looks more adult like...lol and took the stopper out. It really helps and I don't have any problems keeping the Protein Shakes down or crystal light...just keep trying it will work.
