Hey just checking to see if any sleevers out there have decided to head to the gym yet. If so, are you slow walking on a treadmill or riding an excersice bike? If so, which one and for how long? I am going this morning and try for the first time...Yay me...pray for me!

Praying for you Giselle3264. Everything will be just fine. You are probably on your way out of surgery now so I pray for a speedy and easy recovery. Amen!

This is Kia...also Diva K. I lost my previous log in so I had to create a new profile. Everything went well on July 2nd and I am at home adjusting.

Try not to stress over it too much. Knowing is half the battle, so don't overdo it and stress yourself again. I know it is hard to resist sometimes but we do have the sleeve to remind us...LOL! So I hope you don't lose the crabcake and your tummy settles down soon.

I had my surgery on July 2nd and I was not in any real pain either. I used my pain pump 3-4 times depending on how sore I was feeling and to put me back to sleep. Actually the nurses kept me reminding me I could use it every 15 minutes. I told them that honestly I was o.k. I had two bouts with nausea but not vomiting. I am six days out and I took off Monday but honestly I could really go in to work because I feel well enough to do so.

I am already receiving attention and its only been 6 days...LOL! Enjoy it. I feel like its a whole new me. I was also thinner when we me (but not when we got married) but the bottom line is he married me for me. Thin or thick...Im still me and as far as I can see he truly appreciates me for me. My weight is an issue only for me...he made a comment this morning that he liked it better when we could eat together...LOL!
Enjoy the attentiion...it can only make your relationship stronger.

Yes I was sleeved on July 2nd as well. Prilosec has helped my stomach gurgling. I totally forgot my doctor advised me to still take it when I got home. I have real minor irritation if I drink to fast or swallow too hard. hopes this helps..

Am I allowed to esat Greek Yogurt. I know I am not supposee to have the kind with fruit in it. My doctor's manual has yougurt and sugar free pudding in it at the full liquid stage and supposedly full liquid began on day 2. However I tried a tiny spoon of Jello sugar free pudding last night and I didn't feel well. Please advise.

Try not to let the negative comments get to you. I know it will be hard but I was sleeved on Monday and the road to success will be faster than he thinks. We have the right tool to get us to our desired destination! LOL!

I bought a blender in a bottle from Bed Bath and Beyond and it helped tremendously with making the shakes. I tried to get it right by hand but never came out right. The bottle totally changed the texture and everything. I also used 1 percent milk; although, you can use skim milk.

Thanks....I am drinking now and it seems to help. I also have sf popsicles so I will eat those as well. He said the shake with 1 percent milk was fine, so I am alternating days between the Protein Shake and Unjury chicken noodle Soup. We will see how it goes. The only thing from keeping me from attacking my hubby's turkey burger is that fact that I know this new stomach of mine can't handle it...oh well on to the drinking..LOL!

I am so hungry at least that is what I think I am. I had surgery on Monday, July 2nd and everything went great. I am drinking all of my fluids and Protein Shakes. I think maybe I should not have used milk but the doctor said it was o.k. Could this be contributing to my hunger since it is a thicker liquid and I should only be on clear? I was a little confused because the nurse told me today not to eat cream Soup but at the hospital on July 4th they made me eat two spoons and some yogurt...which all stayed down...HELP!

Today makes my one week post op and I feel a little sore but relatively normal. You will see that things get wayyyy better real soon! Just make sure you are sipping. I bought a toddler sippy cup the ones for 12 months and up because it looks more adult like...lol and took the stopper out. It really helps and I don't have any problems keeping the Protein Shakes down or crystal light...just keep trying it will work.
Good luck and you are on the loser side now...LOL!
