  1. I drink Whey Protein elite series 60g for 2 scoops..yummy it's damn good I drink the chocolate! Taste like slim fast

Where did you find this? That is great...I didn't drink a Protein shake today or yesterday so I must start back on the right track tomorrow. I am eating more(which is not nearly enough) since I will be six weeks out on Monday. This eating more than just liquids makes me think I dont need shakes... so I must change my thoughts and have one in the morning!

  2. Wow that is great...I am a slow loser as well...but in the end we are still "losers" and from all of the post I have read..everyones weight evens out and after a year to a year and a half everyone is at or so close to goal they can touch it...LOL! I know without this tool the term "GOAL WEIGHT" would not be in my future no matter how many years out...sad but true...so I am so happy with my small weight loss cause in the end it will add up to a much bigger number! Yayy US!!

  3. The only person that knows is my husband. I don't really have "friends" that would understand and frankly might be jealous. So I will deal with the jealousy once the weight comes off. I have one "friend" that has started trying to lose weight because she knows I am going to the gym and don't eat like I used to...so now she wants to mimic me. I say more power to you! My hubby is my best friend and "real friend" so as of now he is the only one who knows.. :D

  4. I sometimes think I should have lost more by now because I started at a higher weight. I was 320 lbs on my surgery date. 6 months later I weigh 250. Surgeon says he's happy with ten pounds a month average. And as I literally feel my body and really look at my body I feel happy. I only weigh 250 lbs.

May sound strange to some but to me...I only weigh 250 lbs.

Keep the faith. We are all losers, my friends.

This is great...Just ask yourself could you have lost 70 pounds in 6 months on your own...that is a lot of weight...keep up the good work and congratulations! :P

  5. You are doing great. I have lost a total of 20 pounds and 4 pounds were due to pre-op. I had surgery on July 2nd. I think everyone will lose at a different rate but in the end we all end up in the same place...losers...LOL! Also, from what I have read it is good to be a slow loser so your body had time to catch up and it makes for a lot less loose skin..., :P

  6. I was wondering the same thing...I am five going on six weeks out and I was wondering when I could try at least a bite of a roll or something...but if it feels me up too quickly it won't be worth it. Everything I eat feels me up quickly. I ate one egg for Breakfast and felt overly stuffed! Maybe I will try a roll at 3 months out or maybe even 6 months at the rate I'm going!

  7. I must agree...I totally stopped shopping and from the looks of my closet I won't have to go for a while. I have clothes that are up to three times smaller...It will be fun to see which ones I can still fit. A lot of them I will give away and buy new ones but some are still up to date and I will be glad to wear them...finally! B)

  8. I was sleeved July 2nd and am down 25 lbs. I had a plateau around the 3-4 wk mark but finally broke through with 3 30 minute treadmill sessions a day. Maybe that was all my body needed to get that jumpstart? I talked to my nutritionist who told me that many people have the same thing happened when they are in the mushie stage for some reason. I really thought I was doing something wrong!! My first day back to work is tomorrow and the following day is my first visit with my surgeon. I can't wait to get back to work, but I did not tell anyone where I was for the past month and am kinda nervous what everyone will think about my weight loss. (I've lost 33 lbs since everyone has seen me last!) I can tell in the clothes I try on that I've lost weight...but in my mind I'm still that fat girl that hasn't lost any. It's going to take some time for me to get over my body image issues. Other than that I feel great and have ZERO regrets!!

I totally understand how you feel...I am the same way. I have been back to work since day 7...I am working 6 hours a day - four days a week this summer...nothing strenuous. I will most definitely be walking...I was doing great for the past 3 weeks and fell off the wagon...maybe that's why I haven't lost a pound yet...we will see!

  9. Hello...I was sleeved on July 2nd and I am doing great. I think I have hit the dreaded 3 week stall but it is o.k. I know this will pass and hopefully sooner than later. I still have some slight incision pain from time to time but not anything that I need meds for. I weighed 210 and lost 4 pounds before surgery and now I weigh 192-193 depending on what my body wants to weigh in the morning... :P

  10. I couldn't miss making note of the one thing I most definitely will not miss....drum roll please...my thighs rubbing together and sweating while wearing a dress. This causes me not to wear skirts/dresses unless its cold outside and rarely then because of the rash it creates and the pain of my thighs rubbing...I can't wait till I have loss enough weight :P
