  1. @teoboysandagirl- it is very scary don't get me wrong. Yes I am happy I will have this bundle of joy and yes I still worry about weight gain and what I will look like afterwards. I don't care what people say, you will always think about what will I look like after the baby and how much will I have to work to lose what I gain. I say just stay healthy while pregnant, if you can do activities do them, don't get lazy, etc. everyone feels different about weight gain some people worry more than others and some are terrified to go back to the way they use to look. So just know that your feelings are normal, in my book at least.
  2. Thanks for the support. Today I am 7months pregnant and she is doing well. She is over 2.5lbs and kicking lol. When I went to take my glucose test today they say I lost 7lbs since a month ago. I continue to eat but not as much especially with the heart burn. I take in small portions and sometimes I don't even have a appetite but I force myself to eat to get nutrition. I must admit I do look in the mirror at times and am thankful to be able to have a child but also in the back of my mind I worry about my weight gain. To date I have gained about 18lbs which is probably all baby. I do plan on working hard to get back down after the baby is born because I have many clothing to get back into and I enjoy not being so winded when walking and I want to be able to play with my daughter without feeling sluggish. Blood pressure has been good as well as the remainder of the pregnancy. I look forward to one day lying on my stomach Lol. Thanks again

6 months post VSG and Pregnant

I was wondering how everyone weight loss has been going since having THeir baby. I am two years out from having my surgery and three month pregnant. Lord knows I do not want to see 220 anything. I am now stable at 208-210. Before pregnancy in November 195, I was pregnant in dec and gained about 5 but miscarried and started working in losing then stopped because I was pregnant again. This time I started at 200-202, when I found out. I am determined to not go over 225, that's a whole other cloths bracket for me though I'm already in. 14 from a 12, but thats to be expected. I have had minimal morning sickness and minimal sickness so I have been eating since becoming pregnant, maybe I will slow down during THR second trimester who kiss. Thanks for listening you guys Ladyl99
  4. Thanks ladies for your responses. I am three months and franking out cause I have gained 7-10 lbs, not good. Going to see the nutritionist tomorrow, but I know what she will say, walk more, eat more healthier snacks, blah blah. How have you both been doing with the weight loss since the babies have come, I hope well. I am trying to keep the faith that I will get back down but I still have 6months to go.
  5. Congrats on your surgery and the baby. Myou did great with 100 down within 7months I wish. Sometimes I wish I had the other surgery because maybe I would have hit 100 mark or further. But I had my surgery jan. 2010, beame pregnant 6 month after had no clue, diagnosed with PCOS in 2005. I miscarriages that baby and another in dec. 2011, and now I'm pregnant again, 3 months. I am so worried about my weight gain because it is a coming, literally. Since finding out this time I have gained bout 7-10 pounds. I jus started walking with the advice of my doctor, I am trying not to gain no more than 15 more, I would cry. My blood pressure issues came back over the summer and it feels like its happening all over again, weight, medical issues. I Am excited about my baby never thought I would have any but here we are, yayyyyy!! Biggest concern is weight gain, how have you been doing with your weight gain? Signed scared and worried ladyl99
