Good Grief, have had such a hard time eating lately and today I'm a bottomless pit and have eaten anything and everything!

Hello everyone! Today is my first full day back at work, I've been doing about 4-5 hours at a time. I am doing better, I still have a little soreness but compared to the way the hernia felt it's so much better! I have not been able to exercise and did not have a fill during my 6 weeks so things were getting a little loose. I wasn't losing any and the other day I got on the scale and was back to 192 I flipped. I didn't fill I needed the fill until I went to the beach with my daughter Easter weekend and realized I could pretty much eat anything I just had to eat it slow this being said I went ahead and got a fill last week, this one is tight tight. I have problems with most anything if I don't chew enough or eat slow, I've also found I can not drink much at all at one time and before I could. All that being said I am learning to not get stuck so much it's so hard to do but as soon as I feel it might be happening no matter how much I want that bite I stop. Sun I was at my moms and she was concerned because I got what my daughter calls the stuck look. I just stopped and said mom I'm okay just got to go slow, she worries way to much! I eventually finished my meal about 30 minutes after everyone else! It's so frustrating sometime but then this morning I got on the scale and it read 186.6 so I am pumped and ready to continue! I will start my walking more back today Kim I could not have describe how I'm feeling any better than you did it's the exact same for me. Amy I'm really envious of you, I've went to Australia in 2007 and fell in love, I have always said if I could move anywhere in the world it would be there or Aruba! Good luck!

I was that way yesterday (dragging) but my daughter convinced me to get out and do some retail therapy. I don't usually like shopping but it was great to just go and I got some new shirts for spring which I really needed since the ones from last year hang off me like a tent that made me happy. Got some great buys at Khols but spent more than I should because I have several birthdays coming up for family members. Thank goodness for 30% off coupons! Just go do it you will feel better. Yesterday it rained all day now today sitting in my office the sun is shining. figures but at least it's not real cold. I feel for our friend North of us.

Oh and yes some days I think I could eat the house others can't eat much of anything at all!

I am doing better getting there slowly. I can't exercise right now and feel the flabby belly thing myself my daughter keeps telling me my belly is still swollen from the surgery but I don't know. I have lost so much everywhere but feel fat still because of that darn belly fat lol. Oh well all in good time I guess but yes a tummy tuck would help. I've had two c sections a full hysterectomy (before they did them liproscopic) lap band and now a hernia. I told my husband I feel like my tummy is a plump road map! I did do quit a bit of walking yesterday seems all I can do at this point. Have a great day everyone I am at work and hope to be able to stay a bit longer.

I am short and small boned, I've always been a smaller size on bottom than top so that's probably part of it but still I was shocked! When this started I was barely getting into a 20 and really needed a 22.

2 more pounds lost and I bought a size 12 jeans yesterday. I really think they most run a little big but still I'm stoked!

My first full day out and it went well but I can honestly say I'm exhausted. My grand daughter was in a Pageant today

60 lbs is an amazing amount, I'm still at 38-40 and it fluctuates, now I'm unable to exercise so I feel I'm just stuck but I will get back to it as soon as I can. We all just have to hang in there!

Had salad and chicken for dinner and got it stuck OMG the last thing I need is to be throwing up while I still have staples. All I could think about is what if this happens again. Other than that I'm doing good :/

I have had my surgery, all went well. Have some pain but not to bad. My mom is staying with me and spoiling me

Well happy Anniversary baby! Our ann is 2/20 my surgery is set for 2/21. It is an incisional hernia and my doctor wants me to take it easy for 4-6 weeks after the surgery and told me to take it easy before also. Pretty bummed and I can not stay off work that long so I'm not sure what to do, I just hope they don't tell me I can not drive the entire 6 weeks!

I've had been having a lot of mild pain below my right rib and about a month ago it started getting really bad and swelling. One day when my family was at the house it was horrible and I guess I kept rubbing it (seems to help) my daughter noticed and said mom why does your stomach look swollen and you keep rubbing it, are you pregnant? (funny girl) I then I lifted my shirt and showed the area to them my son in law said looks like you may have a hernia better get that checked so the next appt I had I told my dr but at that time it wasn't swollen bad and he really didn't think it was a hernia because of it's location well the next time I went he looked at it again and said we may need to do a CT scan on that so I went Mon, they called yesterday and said yes it is and surgery will be needed but that is all the nurse was able to tell me, I go tomorrow to find out just what all is going on I had told my husband after my band surgery that was the last time I would go under the knife, well guess the jokes on me I don't want to do this but if it will make me feel better in the long run then I will (don't have a choice from the sound of it) I'm a Christian but I am a worry wart also and I worry about the surgery, my family, what my mom will say (she was not happy about me getting the band) and my missing work so I'm just praying for peace over all this Also I want everyone to know I do not know the cause of this hernia, it is right above an incision but it may not be caused by the band surgery not sure on that yet. I just don't want to scare people off from the band because other than upper back pain (which I've had for years) and this hernia I feel so much better with the 40 pounds gone that I've lost so far and I could NOT have done it without the band believe me I've tried every diet out there like everyone else here!

Got some news today I didn't want to get. I had a CT scan done yesterday for this bulge in my upper belly and it's official it is a hernia I am told that surgery is neede but that is all the information the nurse was allowed to give me. I see the Dr on Thur and will know more. The thought of another surgery is NOT something I wanted to do and I'm really scared of what this means as far as my band goes. I swore I would be strong and not break down when I got the info because I knew that is what it was but I'm about to lose it. :*(

Thanks for the tip K, I will have to go to Sams and get some. No regrets and to anyone that thinks it's easy be prepared it's not but it's worth it! I feel like a new person that has been awakened. My dt asked me if I had more energy the answer is an astounding yes!

Don't be sorry for posting and to answer your question. Yes yes yes I have had this problem since I started this and it's not getting any better. My dr recommended ducalax but I'll be honest nothing seems to help.

BTW I want mahi mahi Oh my goodness that sounds so yummy!!!!
