hihi!! im 12 wks and have lost 18 lbs since finding out I was prego. I have extreme morning sickness but eat as much as possible when not sick. I just hit 167 with a 86lb loss from surgery in feb. 1st time in my life I am actually TRYING to gain weight. its bizarre. im told by drs that the baby will be fine and will take everything from you and that we (as in moms to be) are the ones who will suffer. with all this knowledge I am still nervous. let's keep each other informed!! good luck with your pregnancy's!!!

Well, I wasn't sleeved when I had my daughter just over 6 months ago (I had my sleeve done when she was 4 weeks old) but I only gained 23 pounds during my entire pregnancy and she weighed almost 10 when she was born. Most of what I put on I put on in the last 2-3 months. I stayed pretty steady for the first 4 months or so then gradually started going up. My baby girl is healthy as can be now. I have a cousin who is a tiny thing that didn't gain a pound during her pregnancy and had a completely healthy baby. As long as you are eating like you should and exercising, then you and the baby should be fine Congratulations and good luck!!!

ive noticed sex has been much more pleasurable that is until my husband goes into beast bang mode. at times it can make me have several orgasms back to back. other times it feels like he goes way too deep way too hard. I went to my gyno and I am perfectly healthy and non injured. I thought switching to me on top would help but even flat on his back he bucks like a mad man. have any of you ladies experienced deep penetration discomfort since wls? Also has anyone else realized the hugeness of their husbands penis after wls? btw I reached the 100lbs total lost about 2 wks ago and he is really giving it to me like im someone new.

I had the same pain, in the lower left side. It's where the trocar was inserted during surgery. Also, the nurse explained that the nerve endings are waking up which is another reason for the sharp pain. My pain was awful, I couldn't get out of bed with out help and God forbid I coughed or sneezed! At about 4 weeks the pain was totally gone.

Question!! So i went for a pap smear last month and did blood work,I asked my obgyn tht i think i might have PCOS and she said were you told you had PCOS and I said no but its been 10mnths without a period she said Im sure its ur weight,so i told her about me getting sleeved on sept 14th she said tht was good..and my results are good even my thyroid,i had hypothyroid but only took the pills(synthyroid) when it was first prescribed to me which was somewhere in may,Thts not my question,my question is how you guys were diagnosed with PCOS,how did yall find out?What are the signs?

I like the Unjury chicken broth flavored powder...particularly when I mix it in liquid chicken broth, instead of Water. I bought a big bucket of the Syntrax Nectar Fuzzy Navel, and can barely stand the taste (thanks to everyone on here who said it was wonderful...blech!). My favorite Protein Drink is the ready-to-drink chocolate Muscle Milk Lite...it reminds me of a melted chocolate shake, but no guilt!

supersweetums, don't feel bad, I'm out 3 years and dont "get it" yet either. . the other day I went to a waterpark with my family and there was this lady whom, in my eyes, wasn't big, just strongly built. . .i asked my hubbie if i am about her shape, he said "oh no!" I got a small tinge of hurt and asked "I'm bigger right?" He said "are you crazy, your way smaller then her!" I looked at this lady and couldn't believe that I was smaller then she was. To me she looked fine, I still see myself as very large. I guess it takes a long time to wrap your brain around all this huh? I still don't like to look at myself in mirrors or my reflection in the window. I still see a very large girl looking back and still walk with my head down so I don't see the stares of other people. . . amazing what abuse for so many years has done to us . . . so sad

I'm new to this sight but was wondering if anyone out there has been denied by Highmark BCBS & won their appeal. I have a bmi of 42 & have been denied because I'm under a bmi of 50. I know that the sleeve is the best option for me but am wondering if there's even a chance of having it overturned. They will cover lap band or bypass for me but am not comfortable with those options. When I first looked into surgery I thought lap band was the way to go but upon doing more research the sleeve is definatly the best option for me. So if anyone has any advice or tips for me please help!!
