Ok mumof2boys don't take this wrong just listen. Put on your big girl pants shake it off and look at the big pic. You got to get your head back into the game here it's 4th and 10 to goal with 10 seconds left. When your boys get home from school or set them down infront of u and look at there face. They need u just as much as u need them you know what to do uve done it before. U do what ever it takes to get that old new u back start out slow and ul finish big. I have faith in u to do it don't cry about what's happened start smiling about what your getting ready to do u can do it

For your information I live 3 hours away from my nutritionist so I can't just jump in car and go see her. As far as calling or emailing I'm still waiting on response from her and its been 3 weeks. That's y I ask your alls opinion on things and use what ever might work for me sorry its been such a bother to u all ill seek else where for advice thank u

I'm sorry but your rude I guess I'm the only man that has had the band that is on this forum. And before u have the chance to say go to mens room I have and all they have to talk about is their penis size during weight loss which I have no problem in that area. Thank u both i'll try upping cals more. It's just really hard for me to get 1200 cals a day without eating several times a day and was trying to stay in the 3 meals a day only. The way I see it is anyone that has had the band and has had success with it for much time is a professional/ nutritionist. Most nutritionists never has been big and learn from books i feel hands on is better. The exact way that u may lose weight may not work the exact same for everyone but will be close. I just figured that's y we have this site is to share our success stories with people and may help them in their journey also

I also have been heavy all my life but deep down I knew the kind of person I am inside and that helped out weight my weight problem. And your right he's not worth it keep looking there r other guys like me out there but u really have to look. Good for u

Hello my friends well the first big holiday Is almost here and I find myself not dreading it. If u all haven't seen yet I made it to my first goal from 320 to 270 and my next is 240. I haven't weighed 270 in about 9 years and WHEN I get to 240 that's only 20 pounds heavier than I weighed when I graduated high school yaaaaaa for me keep your heads up and plug through these holidays ???€

I was banded in April 26 and got my first fill June 8 and just now started losing weight down 9 pounds

Hello I'm Kerry and trust me its very frustrating I was banded in April and didn't start losing until June when I got first fill due to hernia. I've lost 39 pounds since but last 6 weeks haven't lost any. Like u I'm eating 700 to 800 cals a day 100 Protein and lots of Water just be patient there's to many success stories for it not to as long as u do what u suppose to do hang in there we r all here for u

All I'm saying to people is don't be ashamed of it tell who u want for me ANYTHING that's wonderful life saving and I'm proud of I want to share that from girlfriends to family to my wonderful lap band thank u Jesus for showing all these people the way to a happier healthier life don't let judge mental people put u down

Look at it this way. A person that has lost a leg do they have a slight limp cause their leg hurts or sprang an ankle. NO they have a fake leg due to losing a leg. Well I'm losing weight cause I got the lap band. To me being over weight is more shameful than losing weight do to a tool inserted in my body to help me lose weight and be healthy BE PROUD BE HEALTHY BE YOURSELF

I look at it differently. I feel that if u meet someone u should give that person a chance to know the real u. I want to know that when the chance to get serious about some one they know just who I really am and that includes my band. I'm not a shame of my band but I was a shame of my weight. I want people to know that at one time I did have a problem and I saw and knew it therefore I got the help to help me fix it and that's just what I'm doing. I'f they can't handle the truth then I didn't need them anyway. As far as the right time who's to say when the right time is I feel like its when your setting there talking letting that person get to know who u really r ???ƒ
