    Kidney stones anyone?

Sorry to hear you are dealing with kidney stones i got one at 2-3 months post op. it was so painful. I was told that a drastic diet or change in diet can cause stones. I hope you are not too uncomfortable and pass the others without too much pain. Sorry I can offer more help I just sympathize with you...

    4 1/2 months post op...pics

No I have not consistently lost it. I have stalled out so many times. The past month I was stuck at 208-203 and then finally I started working out more and eating better and I finally started dropping again. I had almost lost hope. I go weeks with only loosing a few lbs then I drop a few in a couple days. Don't loose hope at any point because it will eventually fall off. I had to make some changes though to jump start the weight loss again. Good luck to you.
  3. Today I am 4 1/2 month post op. The past month has been a struggle but I have finally reached two of my goals. I am at 75 lbs. lost and I broke the 200's and now I am in wonderland! I haven't been here since 10 th grade! My stats: Pre op : 270 Today: 195 Current pic was taken at 203 but I didn't want to get dressed today to take another! We are expecting 6+ inches of snow today...blah.

    NSAIDS

I got kidney stones 3 months post op and was given them. They told me it was just right after surgery but then my book from the doctor says forever. Sorry I am not much help. I was confused about this too.
  5. Only thing I can relate to is that my flow is VERY heavy too. My periods are still exactly 28 days but the flow is so massive. I feel ya on the ruined sheets and clothes. I have done the same.

Started 'Couch to 5k today' Anyone keen?

I started this about a week ago. I am still not able to complete day 1. Which is discouraging but then again who would of thought I could run at all. I will eventually be able to do it. I am 3 months post op and down 65 lbs counting my 20 pre op.
  7. I got the flu 2 weeks post op. it was not fun at all. Lost 5 lbs in a few days and was very dehydrated for two weeks after. Make sure you don't get dehydrated that really hurt me for about two weeks. I was barely able to walk i was so weak. Fingers crossed that you don't get it!!

    Belly button pain?

My worst pain post op was also in my belly button incision. Hope it gets better for you. Mine was sore for a few weeks.
  9. Thanks everyone. I am very proud of what I have lost so far. I am just looking for tips to help me break this stall. I have been at this same weight for over a month now. It is just frustrating. Thanks for all the kind comments.
  10. I had my VSG surgery on Nov 6th, 2012. ( 15 wks post op) Counting pre op I have lost a total of 60 lbs, 20 of that before surgery. For the past 4-5 weeks I haven't lost a pound and I actually keep fluctuating a few lbs. So far on my journey I haven't had much difficulty, except for the 3 week stall at 3 weeks out. I can eat pretty much anything I want and I was still able to loose. I am looking for suggestions to start really working on jump starting my weight loss again and start focusing more on myself. I have started to exercise a few times a week and I am trying to drink more water. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Not sleeping well

I take OTC melatonin every night to get a good nights sleep. I love it because it is all natural and I wake up feeling great.

5wks PO, and YES I regret

I felt the same way as you till about 2 full months post op. now I am almost 2 1/2 and very happy. Weight loss is slow but it is no longer a burden. I hope you also have that moment where everything changes and you feel happy about your decision.

    I hate this surgery.

I felt the same way till about 2 months out. Now I don't feel deprived at all and I have lost 55 lbs. hang in there. It gets better.

    Sleeve Then Flu Now Struggling.

My diet is soft foods. Problem is I can't even stand to drink protein shakes or anything. With the first sip I feel like I am going to get sick. It sucks. I was doing so well before and now I am so weak and not able to hardly get through the day. It is a real struggle.
