Hmmm My doctor allows pudding, yogurt, and cream of wheat, in addition to full liquids. No problems so far!

HI y'all, I'm getting banded on Wednesday, and I thought of a question I forgot to ask my surgeon. The cord that goes from band to port, where is that placed? Does it just "hang out" in your body? Have u heard of it interfering with other organs? Thanks peeps

Started this journey about 3 months ago, and have been super excited to get banded! I start my preop diet tomorrow, and I'm so nervous now! I'm scared of how different life will actually be. Did anyone else get an overwhelming feeling before surgery, like if your making the right decision? I know I want this, but feeling a little overwhelmed :/

I'm finally under 200lbs. It feels so good

My doc said to stay away from them. I thought it was going to be hard but so far so good no cravings for it. Which those are the foods that got me this was to begin with...oh and pasta!!

I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the lapband.
If I were you, I'd get my vagina to a Dr. - quick!

IM so excited! I get banded July 18th!!!! I can't believe it's only a month away now I start my pre-op diet on the 4th of July, which kinda stinks, but it will all be worth it!

This is funny! I am 4 years out (got this done AFTER my husband and I split up) and I haven't been in an intimate relationship yet! So I have NO CLUE how differently I'll feel...but just in general I do feel much more womanly and sexy! Can't wait to meet my future husband! :wub:

Wow! I can't believe how similar your story is to mine! I too have been contemplating this decision for many years, I'm 29 and started at 334! I too am waiting for a date (probably the 2nd week of July) and have gone from reg. pop to diet and 1-2 a day....lol I think that's so weird that we're so similar! Keep this thread updated will yaa? Maybe we can be band buddies if you have around the same date as me ?!?!? Good luck to you!
