This is my favorite picture from my 40th birthday photo shoot. I love this orange dress! My friends all call it my "40 fit and fabulous" dress.

I know this picture looks like I have big horse teeth but I love it. I was cutting up with my friend Cindy, the photographer, and she really captured that in this picture.

Nope, just the shirt with a pickle on it. They gave bags of dill pickle potato chips as a complimentary snack but I didn't take any.

Thank you! I'm pretty proud of them. Push ups, as many as I can stand. I still do girly push ups but I'm OK with it. If you do them right they work too. I also use 5 pound hand weights and do curls and arm lifts. I just do my own thing with them but I'm sure you could find a hand weight work out online.

I had lost 105 pounds at my six month appointment. My surgeon did say I was ahead of the curve and I probably wouldn't lose much more and that it is normal to gain between 5 & 10 pounds back by the 1 year mark.

Anyone who has ever said that to me wins MAJOR brownie points!! Thank you! I am striving to show people that I am ME no matter what size package I'm wrapped in. You just made my birthday EVEN BETTER!
