Johns-honey, The mango green tea is delish too! I will have to try the Margarhita one!
-
Thanks ladies, that is good to know. I also like iced tea with lemon that I brew myself, so that would count as Water too. Tamg, I will have to buy some College Inn broth, I have seen it at the store, thank you! I happen to like the Protein Shakes, I maybe the only one that like them.
I add cinamon to spruce it up a bit, ice & put it in the blender.

This maybe a stupid question but lately I am really loving the Crystal Light flavors. I hate to drink alot of Water.< /p>
Would drinking the Crystal Light count as your water?

Well I only use a 1/2 of banana...I will ask my dr. But thanks for the reply!

I have never heard of Metformin for weight loss. I am on it and have been for years for type 2 Diabetes. I need Lap Band surgery lol So the Metformin didn't help me lose weight. Makes your bowels work good though hahaha... Whats the harm, take it, it will help your blood sugar. Once you loose your weight you probably won't need it at all!
-
Yelorz I would ask your lap band dr. that question too. See what he says.
-
Donna,
I see no problem of telling people what your bill was for the psych. eval. Your in no way offending me. You either pay the bill or you don;t. Most people pay if they want this lap band surgery bad enough,
-
I will ask about the bananas, thanks!
-
I too had to do a psych eval, it was two sessions and I had to complete a risk assesment for depression (it was only one page). The only issue I had with the psych eval was that my first session was 45 min ($50 copay), second visit, 15 min ($50 copay) and she is also charging me $50 for the report.
Guess what I had to pay for the report? $175.00 and t psych. wanted in a check right then at the end of this visit! I was told before hand this was the deal! Ya gotta go with the flow...

I am getting excited to start my 10 day re op diet. I must be odd to be so excited about starving! Its just that I feel I get closer to my surgery day and closer to fitting into that bathing suit without wearing a beach cover up! I am looking forward to a healthy, thin body so much! Thinks postive!
-
My pre op diet starts for me on Sat. May 12. I have been having a Protein Shake on my own now for Breakfast just to get used to them & I like them! Been doing it for a week. I think the shake fills me until lunch pretty well. I put 1%milk, ice cubes, a sprinkle of cinamon, adds a nice flavor! I sometimes add 1/2 banana for extra flavor!
-
Donna, I took that ridiculous test too! I am pretty sure just about everyone with common sense passes it. It does ask if you ever tried to commit suicide like times in different questions. I found that a little shocking. But whatever! Its easy, I was not terrified at the meeting with him, he was odd like most of them You will do fine!

Best of luck MommaSue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi everyone ~ I'm having my surgery tomorrow, May 4th, so may I join you? Is there a way on this site to be notified of posts or anything? I'm not the most technically savvy person in the world!
Jackie'sGirl, I definitely understand your fear of failure. I'm right there with you. Nothing else has worked, what makes this different? It looks like we will be finding out together and hopefully we will all be successful and healthier for our efforts!

Tomorrow @ 5:00 a.m is my new beginning. I'll keep you all posted on how I'm doing.
Congrats, wishing you an easy time of it all!!

BandedMoraccan, is that a flat belly you have there in your picture?
-
Thanks for clarifying that Shy, I am sorry. I am sorry Michelle about the heart messing you up today. Will they check it again tomorrow? I would be upset too.
The Month pic taking I thought would be cool. I will put a full body pic of me before. I will have my hubby take one of me. Then in a month after my surgery another one...I personally want to see my difference. Good luck ladies and gents!
