[font=comic sans ms,cursive]I am brand new to this. I am considering Lap band surgery. My surgeon is Dr. Glasgow. I see my nutrtionist this Thurs. I am excited about a new skinny life and somewhat nervous too. I thought I would join this forum and read up on things. I am 95% sure I will have this done, I just have to meet up with all my appointments and then I will get my surgery date. I am a wife, a mom of 2 grown kids and I am 55 yrs. old. I obviously have struggled like the rest of you gaining & losing weight through my life. I recently had a hysterectomy and that poured the weight on me. I am a Diabetic as well & plan to loose that with the weight loss! I have spent the last 3 weeks eating totally healthy & lost about 5 lbs. Wish me luck!!!!!!![/font]
