Thank you all for your response. Got the diarrhea to stop but think somehow I have a fissure. I’m taking my painkillers for the Fisssure and not for the surgery how crazy is that?

Sleeved Tuesday. Extreme diarrhea. Dr wants me to keep drinking and go to ER! What’s the point? Until I eat solids, I’ll go to ER?? This is BS! Before the surgery I asked this question and was told it will all work out! Any suggestions???

What stage are you in that you can do applesauce. I’m 4 days out and ready for cream of chicken soup!

Did your go away? I still have a week 1/2 of liquids.

I was just sleeved yesterday . I get to go home tonight. I’m so nervous that I’m gonna fail. If chewy and spitting makes you mentally better, don’t beat yourself up.

Hi. I had my surgery yesterday. Just got the ok to start sipping 1oz cups. Have to hold down 4 in an hour. Can’t wait to go home. Pain and sore...yes but worst part is nausea. My body dry heaving.. also exhausted. Of course I’m wishing I didn’t do this. I want to feel healthy bit I’m tired of surgeries. If this doesn’t work, I’m not doing anything any more. I’m just cranky and want to go home.

I’m October 9th...which is tomorrow...and I’m freaking out! I’m cranky cause I’m hungry and I’m having 2nd thoughts!!

It's esophagus spasms! I have the same thing. I gained back my weight because I had to have no fill. It had to heal. My surgeon told me that its not due to the band but my gi dr said he has had quite a bit of patients with this. Ugh!!! If it keeps happening I will have it removed. It's so painful. It's a little over a year now and all I've lost in total is 20lbs. feel better

So since my lapband last April, I have lost 37 lbs. which I found great. I only needed to lose 50 more. When it was first put on, I struggled and started to lose a lot of hair. My dr put me on Biotin, more vitamin D and had me increase my protein shakes. Well in January, I landed in the hospital with esophagus spams! Thought it was a heart attack! I had to have all my fluid out. Now not only have I gained 7 lbs but my hair is falling out even worse! I'm serious when I tell you that I have nothing left(for me)! I have always had thick hair and now it is paper thin! I can actually see through it!! I'm taking all my vitamins and my shakes! I'm still getting some spasms but no where near as bad! Am I missing something? Anyone have any of this happen to them? I want to be healthy for my 4 kids but being bald and having chest pains is not what I signed up for. This sucks so bad!! I'm so depressed! Please anyone have anything POSITIVE ADVICE? I can't handle nasty mean people right now! EVEN MY HUSBAND NOTICED MY HAIR! (Ladies they never notice things like that, right?! LOL :'( ...)

Tricia congrats on your success. I should add eggs. I kinda got tired of them. Missy-2500 a day Of biotin and two protein shakes a day. Oatmeal with protein, fish and tuna. Good idea about pcp. Ill do that

I have had the Barium test. I haven't seen my pcp and yes I've talked to the nutritionist. All they keep saying is protein. Besides eating nothing but meat I'm eating it!

I've been doing very well. Green zone/good restriction! 6 weeks ago I said I was good and didn't need a fill. Well, I noticed I was eating more during the holidays. Since my appt is next week, I figured I'll be careful and wait till then. Well-after doing the treadmill, I started to get pain in my chest through to my shoulder. I also had heartburn. I already had bad acid reflux so I took gasx and my medicine. Well, it's now 24 hours and it still hurts. I feels like gas. I got the burps but I'm getting worried! I now have a bad headache too. My acid reflux got better but still feels like its ready to perk up. Any advice ladies? I don't want to be having a heart attach and not know! Thx. Kris

It is like labor just in your chest!! It was an elimination process to be diagnosed. Hope ur better soon

Well last night they removed 1/2 the fluid and I am back in the hospital again! The chest pain is no better. They said my heart was fine but I am exhausted! I can deal with this pain anymore!! It's like a bullet logged into my chest!

I'm in the hospital. It's not gas and not heart. They can't stop the pain. It's got to be Lapland related yet they keep ignoring me when I suggest it. Frustrating!

Did u find out what it is? I am experiencing the same thing! It's quite painful!

All of a sudden I can eat anything! I had this sharp pain on the side of the band but my kids had a virus st that time so I thought it was that. Now I seem to be able to eat a lot more. Could this be a band slip?

This stinks! On the Jersey Shore and can't eat anything! We have no electric due to Sandy! The only thing to eat is crap or fast food! Grateful my house is still here but frustrated by all this and can't eat either!! Ughhhh! Just needed to vent!
