Squisha got a reaction from UTGal99 in Anyone Regret It?
I love my sleeve, no regrets. I had a great doctor, monthly support groups and lots of family and friends that fully supported my decision.

Squisha reacted to SleeveNoob in Omg I Just Ate Cake 8 Days After Surgery
There is just a way to give advice and a way to judge. There are many judgmental people on here who get snappy at people who struggle. They know its wrong or they know it could hurt them that's why they post on this site. I think people should just answer the questions asked not scold people. I've been scolded on here and it didn't help me all I got were a bunch of people telling me a bunch of crap I already knew. my point is think before you speak. Having the sleeve makes no one on here an expert on everyone else. Advice is fine, informing or trying to teach is fine. But to belittle someone because they struggled and cheated is out of line and makes me not yup even want to use this forum.

No need to make someone who struggles feel even more ashamed than they already are. Its one think to give advice and another to judge. just because it was so easy for you to follow doesn't mean it is for everyone else. I was eating things I shouldn't on my liquid diet and I don't feel guilty. Your body will tell you what you need to know when you eat something you're not suppose to and you will go through the discomforts and learn what you can and cannot eat. I recommend staying with your diet and not cheat but I bet we are not the only ones who have cheated. Not many people will admit when they have cheated. But reading some of theses responses tick me off cuz it always turns in to omg I can't believe you would risk your life or omg you need counseling. Just cuz you had the sleeve does not make you an expert! Just sayin!

Squisha got a reaction from CBT in What Did You Tell Your Kids?
My daughter is a quite a bit older, shes 12. I told her i was hiving the surgery to lose weight and get healthy. I told her the Dr was gonna put 7 small holes in my stomach and 1 large hole and that when i came home i was probably gonna be tired, sore and cranky. I let her ask any questions she had. I left it up to her if she wanted to see me in the hospital. She did come up to see me and thinks it's funny that i don't remember because of all the pain meds. But she was a great little nurse when i got home. lol she even helped her dad cook dinner the 1st week or so after i got home.

Squisha got a reaction from jennlhp in Any Regrets?
I was sleeved in March, and so far no regrets, i was scared leading up to my surgery date but I think that is normal. I have had no complications and think this is the best thing i have ever done.

Squisha reacted to hollirrose in Milk, My Friend, Why Do You Insist On Hating Me?
So I have never in 33 years had a problem with lactose.... Until day 4 post op and then it decided to kick me in the ass! ^_~ I had no idea how many foods lactose is in until I developed this intolerance. I have switched to lactaid milk for my shakes, purchased lactaid pills, and I avoid foods with lactose. I have found the pills help but I still feel a little sick with them. Any other advice?
So..in a glass full way of thinking.... If I ever feel constipated all I have to do is drink a very small glass of milk.
Things could be a lot worse but I hope this goes away sooner rather then later.

Squisha reacted to rodswife in 2 Part Nsv Maybe Tmi For Some
So tonight I was taking a bath and I realized that I fit in the tub a whole lot better. My hips are not stuck up against the sides as much and the Water actually flows behind me. BUT more importantly, when I looked in the mirror afterwards, I could actually see my girl parts for the first time in 3 years. Lolol
