How are you doing?

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing! Im doing ok just a lot of head hunger <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I dont own a scale yet and i wont see the Dr til the 3rd but i know im down some because my clothing is loose!!!Hang in there blueyes... The first few weeks were really tough for me because I wanted to eat something so badly with some texture and taste. I wasn't physically hungry, I just wanted to chew something. It's probably good you don't own a scale.... Everyone who does drives themselves crazy weighing every hour lol. I will be waiting for your report on the 3rd to see your progress

Truly amazing! Keeping running' date=' that is my goal. When a song comes on, I imagine myself running but my feet are going anywhere. Maybe after surgery, no maybe, after surgery I will get there.[/quote']That's right... There's no maybe to it. Besides the obvious of wanting to lose weight, I wanted the sleeve so it would be possible to run again. I'm rooting for you. Good luck

Way to go. I did it in 33 min 15 sec. I'll get u next year. <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />I sure you will just like me, I'm sure you're just to be out there and not be last

Thanks everyone official time was 32:27. I finished 928th out of 1729.

That is funny. I ran the jingle bell run also but in Bloomfield Hills' date=' Michigan.[/quote']
That's awesome. It was a lot of fun 2700 people did it. It was Fresno's first annual so I'm am glad I was there for it. I will be doing it annually also

I ran my first (of hopefully many) 5ks today. It was the Jingle Bell Run down Christmas Tree Lane. Had such a great time and it felt great to not come in last. I ran the entire thing! I never could've done it 60lbs ago.

How much have you lost.? If you don't mind me askingI have lost a total of 57 lbs. Besides my first month and one other month I have lost 6 lbs/month like clockwork. I am expecting it to get slower. This last month I thought I was only going to lose 3-4 but at the last minute.. Bam! 3 lbs were gone.
-
Me..mine was Dr. Juarez on HalloweenHi... I had my surgery in May so I'm coming up on my 7th month. Hope things are going well for you. Things have been pretty great for me
-
You look great! I agree with the running..... I am now starting to get back to where I can run and not feel like I'm going to die. I love running.... I missed it so much. I told my husband that one of the main reasons I wanted to lose weight was to be able to run again. He probably thought SUUUURREE... Lol. He sees it now.
You really do look amazing and congrats for reaching goal. Keep up the strong work and good luck to you in all you do

My surgery weight was 208 and I'm 5'2". I lost about 13 lbs the first 2 weeks then stalled for 3. Since then I have lost a steady 6 lbs per month with the exception of 1 month when I lost 9. I had surgery May 24. I am at 153. I don't think I'm going to lose my normal 6 lbs this month because of all of the holiday eating. I haven't gained so I'm happy about that. I'm not going crazy here between Thanksgiving and New Years but I'm not depriving myself. It's kinda like sensible cheating After the holidays I will buckle back down and lose the last 20-30 lbs. I am expecting it to take me until April. This thread has been great to see. It's comforting to know I am chugging along like everyone else and doing just fine. Good luck everyone!

i have decided not to look anywhere else thats why i went with him to so i might as well suck it up and pay besides how much money have i wasted on diet plans ' date=' pills and non sense......i am just happy i am going to get it done.....[/quote']I was given the option to break it up. Maybe that would make it easier on you. Any idea when you'll be having your surgery. It's nice to talk to someone here in Fresno and using Felix. I haven't found many in Fresno. I had my surgery in May so some of the May Sleevers have broke off and we created our own Facebook group. It's been a great support group. Unfortunately none of them are in Fresno. I don't think any of them are even in California. Most of them are in the south/southeastern part of the U.S.
Tell me a little about yourself... How old are you? What are your stats? Goals? Etc etc. feel free to ask me any questions you might have. My info on the site isn't really updated because I use the mobile app the most. Well, good luck and stay in touch. My email is janetbrewer1639@comcast.net if its easier to communicate that way.

well i went to the nutrisionist at my primary care as well as the psych on my own' date=' im gonna see if he will wave it......they didnt do anything for my in office except the consult so maybe they will.......or my insurance said i can find a new surgon.......i am not pleased at thispoint im thinking of calling around to different surgons[/quote']I can't say I blame you. I went with Felix because he is one of the best. I hated the program fee but I was in a rush and happened to have it from my tax return. I didn't want to waste any more time.
-
i got approved this afternoon but i didnt know about the 950 im bummed my insurance is 100% why do i have to pay thatThat does kinda suck. I think it's a bunch of crap. They call it a program fee to cover the nutritionist and stuff. I thought it was suppose to cover the psychologist too from my understanding but I had to pay for that too.

I am in Fresno I haven't had it done but I to am going to go eith Dr Felix.....how was he....I'm waiting on insurance and it is making me nervous.Felix is good. I have no complaints. Let me know what you think. Don't be nervous. Felix's office pretty much make sure you get approved.

Congratulations to you both! Not a Kaiser pt but I am in Fresno. I am nearly 6 months out (in 2weeks) and really enjoying my sleeve. Good luck to you and can't wait to see your progress.

It's is low but expected at your timing. Don't push it. You will be able to take more in as more time passes. Believe it or not when I got my calories up I would drop a couple lbs. it's really a balancing act. I mixed it up a lot... One day I would reach 1300 cal and the next only 800 at times. Eating nuts is a good way to get calories up. I did the same with fat and carbs. Always kept the numbers bouncing around so my body wouldn't get used to any certain level.
