I don't eat and drink together, I wait 30 minutes after a meal to drink. That was what my surgeon recommended and I have tried to follow that along with the no sodas, no chewing gum, protein first, lots of water and take your vitamins everyday and exercise.

I had a 5 hour energy once since having surgery and I wouldn't drink one again, I had never tried one before and it didn't sit well with me, just my experience with it. -

I took two weeks off, I could have used more though as I was severely anemic and lost a lot of blood which slowed my strength and recovery time. -

I like spinning too(I do take my own padded seat with me lol), I also like the cardio bootcamp type classes along with Zumba. It does help to look around and have others sweating right along with you!!

I have lost a shoe size as well, went from a 9 to an 8, I even tried on a 7.5 that fit me:) I have a ton of shoes and they all are flopping off of my feet, I have bought some insoles and are trying them out to see if they will help them fit as I don't want to get rid of some of my favorite shoes!
