Dr.Illan and Omar is the greatest! I was sleeved by Dr. Garcia is Feb. I have lost 72 pounds it was a good experience! But my daughter had the surgery with Dr. Illan last month and if i would have known about Dr. Illan then, i would have used Dr. Illan...the care is most personalized. Alma was great...but I never laid my eyes on her..Omar was there from beginning...during and after..and he still checking on us....my daughter has had NO issues. . I appreciate both experiences..But thought Dr. Illan was the best!

I had surgery with Dr Illan on march 28th of this year. To date I have lost 87lbs and wouldn't change a thing! My experience was amazing and I want to go back this summer to visit! Omar is by far the greatest person/friend to have thru this! (He is your patient coordinator) he actually had the surgery by Dr Illan in April so he can be a big help bc he's experienced it all himself. Surgery 2-16-2013

I'm a ten too! My VSG surgery will be November 5th with Dr. Illan Fraijo at the florence Hospital I will be staying at the Lucerna Hotel. I'm blessed my husband will be doing the surgery with me as well; what a perfect buddy he will be. Wait, this may turn-out to be a nightmare, he's a big baby! lol lol Best wishes to all the November sleevers and God bless. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

I didn't have a porn shop where I was..............darn it LOL! I was sleeved by Dr. Illan at Florence Hospital across from the Bull Fighting Ring on 8/31/13. We didn't have to pay any extra for meds or anything. Funny how they are all so different. Glad you are doing well!

Surgery 2/19. Just over 100lbs down. Before and after picture.

Omar did everything thing from picking us up at our location in San Diego, getting my hubby feed while I ate ice chips after surgery and day before, getting us to hotel (super nice!!!) taking us to get meals that we would never have found on our own. They are such great people inside and out. Call him and ask him anything. I already feel like a brand new person Wish I had done this sooner. I won't lie- first day hurts but once the gas is out you are feeling good. Yep, they sure do. Everything is handled from drivers to hospital to hotel to guest accommodations and back again... the only downside is that food isn't easily available in the hospital for guests, but Omar is so wonderful and makes sure that everyone is fed and taken care of. Everything was covered under the price and they sure have it streamlined.

Dr. Illan and Omar are awesome! They took excellent care of my daughter and me as her guest. Omar caters to you. He made sure I had Breakfast, dinner and lunch. He even took care of a patients husband of Dr. Venezuala who had been at the hospital without food for days...Omar took him to get something to eat. I think though...i had surgery with Dr. Garcia which was an awesome experience...I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Illan first!

my surgery was a wonderful experience with Baja Bariatrics. the nurses were great along with the entire staff, I feel like a brand new woman. Omar with Baja Bariatrics goes well beyond the call of duty! He is one of the best persons we have ever met, dont second guess anylonger! call him or video chat with them today, they have changed my life already? I would recommend to my family &friends. Sleeved 02/26/2013 by Dr Fernando Garcia in Tj Mx. Down a total of 57.8 pounds. SW 232, CW 174. scale will sometimes slowly move back and fourth. This is the frustrating part. Keeping under 1000-1200 calories. Trying to exercise 2-3 x week. I feel great just wish I were losing a little faster. Oh and I'm 5'1.

You can cross the boarder with an enhanced driver's license, as long as you're driving and not flying directly into Mexico... It's WAY cheaper and faster... If your self pay (as I was) you already have enough expenses on your plate!

You will b very well taken care of. The hospital is nice and clean. It is a holistic healing center. The cafeteria is all organic and vegan. Your care will b be very good. Not a lot of English but the point gets across. Omar ur patient coordinator is absolutely awesome he will take primo care of you. The hotel is beautiful. Dr. Illan will answer any of ur questions. You will b checked on by a Dr. While u r n the hotel. I can not say anything bad about my experience. It was really like a mini vacation ...except with major surgery. ..lol

Okay y'all. ..this is my first and finest NSV. I had my surgery with Dr. Illan on August 12th in Tijuana. I went to my PCP today and he took me completely off my diabetes medicine. I have been type 2 diabetic for 9 yrs. I have never been able to control it a good day for me was 250. The dr. Had told me my kidneys were going to fail if I didn't do something. I already had the numbness on my feet and my fingers. This surgery was my last chance. This surgery. has literally saved my life. Thank you Susan and Omar most of all thank you Dr. Illan.
