    Once your surgery date is set you get a case worker. I speak to mine weekly.
  2. I feel amazing. I have lost 25 lbs since my surgery and I can feel the difference already. I have more energy and my closes are falling off. I do mourn the loss of eating my favorite foods and have a hard time smelling my favorite foods. I made spaghetti last night and I had to leave the room when my family was eating. I am burned out on soft food but I know I have to take it slow and easy. I have not cheated and I make sure I get my protein and water in each day as much as I can. I use to hate beans of any type no love pinto beans with cheese. I make a fo-pasta bake lol ricotta cheese, spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese bake. I makes me feel like I am eating pasta. Some days I can eat more then others. I love my baby bell cheese and laughing cow cheese. Club 100% wheat crackers are great 2-3 of them with humus sooo good. Tell me what you have been eating and how you feel. Tell me how much you have lost.
  3. Have new ideas to eat Eddys - Frozen Fruit Bar No Sugar Added, 1 bar 25 calories, Honey baked ham company has turkey salad and ham salad that is great.
  4. Try Sobe water 0 calories or crystal light in your water too. I am having a hard time getting protein in but doing my best. I do take 2 flinstones a day that I know helps

    Aetna was the best for me too. No issues with pre approval very straight forward. I love that they have bariatric case workers that help you along the way as well. I have been sleeved a month and love it already. Good luck on your journey.
  6. ddd8704 Thank you soo very much. Any new ideas please send them to me. I had a Naked drink that was a protein drink it was great. The drink has a ton of fruit in it was a nice treat.
  7. I love the club crackers 100 whole wheat. I have not tried crab cakes sounds like a good idea. What kind of lunch meat do you eat? Chicken salad I have eaten once. I made homemade egg foo young with vegs that was great. I do not have caffeine or sugar at this point as well.

  9. I feel like the volume of the amount of soup has gone up and liquids at one time. I can finish a whole protein drink in 10 mins. I am afraid I am doing something wrong.is it okay for me to be able to drink more at this point? I don't want to do damage to sleeve or stretch it out.
  10. Went out to breakfast had 1/2 of scrambles egg and 1/4 of turkey sausage. Slow and steady. Lunch had grill chicken and rocatta cheese was great

  12. Had surgery 2/1 I have lost 16.5 lbs. Watching my family eat is hard as well as smells. I have three children and I have been stressed this week because I have been sick. I was diagnosed with Pneumonia and pleurisy. Spent two days in hospital to come home and feel worse. Depression is horrible and being sick is not helping. I feel like a burden on my family. I had this surgery to feel better not worse. I know this is a complication from the surgery. I hope I have the strength to not cheat and not eat because I am upset. I have been doing good but this is a set back, its keeping me from being active.
  13. I watch my family an dander were they put all that food. Now I am like a food critic volume and what people makes me sick. Just to thin of the fried Chinese food in sugar sauce we eat has not nutritional value. I am now much more aware of bad foods.

  17. I am almost 2 weeks it does get better. I still have one incision that hurts bad. I am able to get the water and protein in, baby steps don't push it to fast. The slower you do it the better you will heal.
  18. today is first day of pureed food. Did chicken and sweet potato was great. Can't eat more then 2 tsp

  19. Had a hard time drink protein drink this morning. Made me very nauseated

  20. Went trail walking today for 30 mins. Was good work out little hills pt too big. Was nice to enjoy the weather

  21. Sore a little discomfort nothing to big. I try not to bent over or lift that causes pain. I eat slow and take baby sips.
  22. I feel hungry why? Drinking my. Water and Clear liquids. I need suggestions. Exhausted from no sleep at hospital. My neutrionist was out on funeral leave. Don't want tiover do the fluids and stretch out stomach. Tomorrow is full liquids so excited to start that.

  24. I am 6 days out and still burp and hear my stomach. The soreness with drinking is almost gone. I am able to drink more everyday. Everyday it's easier.
  25. This afternoon was better, had cup of soup cream chicken a little bit, had Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop whey protein. Breakfast was milk with whey protein. I keep everything down ate very small amounts and very slow. Don't feel hungry at all. Stomach seems settled down after prilocec.
