That's a stall but do not let it get you down. You are losing inches even if the scale does not move. To do a little jump start go back to your liquid diet for 72 hours.

Jumping On The Vsg Train
deekaspor replied to Slenderella's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
You will be so happy with your decision. I have been sleeved for 2 months now and LOVE it. I have more energy to do the things I want to do. Of course that took a month, the first few weeks I was so tired. It is a lot of work so don't think it will be an easy ride, however very worth it. I am so excited for you!! -
My Hubby Doesn't Support Me Spending $15K For Surgery
deekaspor replied to tango16's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Get it done in Mexico. I had mine there, paid 4500 bucks and LOVE my sleeve. I was a little nervous since I do not speak Spanish, but all went well and I did not have any problems. -
totally normal, about once every 3 to 4 days.
-
Only 2 1/2 days, then they pull it out
-
Some people don't have a drain bag. A friend of mine had the sleeve after me and she did not have one. Long story short, it is a small suction bulb that removes the blood/drainage after the sleeve surgery.
-
I let mine dangle and I am a huge baby when it comes to pain. It did not hurt to shower.

Yes, over eating or drinking can stretch your stomach out. Think of it as a balloon that you continue to blow up, let the air out, blow up again, eventually the balloon is bigger, that is the same concept of a stomach.

I also took them after a meal. I had a long commute to work and just riding in my car or husband's truck would cause the gas to go crazy.

Stalled At 2 Weeks Post-Op.
deekaspor replied to KristieAtkinson's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
everyone stalls, trust me. Your body has just realized what you are doing and is trying to hold on to some weight. The stalls do not last too long and they happen about every 3 weeks. Just keep eating right and exercising and it will start to come off again. I am coming off a 7 day stall, but finally don't let myself get too worked up. -
15 Months Out- Feeling Like A Failure
deekaspor replied to ILKrista's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
It is his loss, do not give up your power. Look have amazingly far you have come...YOU DID THAT. I agree you should see someone because food is a crazy addiction, and it is legal, and all around us. Today get up put both feet on the ground and start to run again, for yourself. -
How long ago was your surgery? This can go on for up to a month after. It is the gases being released. I had the same thing and thought it would never go away, but trust me it does. Try Gas-X it lessens the gas, but does not completely take away the pain. Good luck.

Sleeved 5/25/12- Weak Moment, Cheated A Bit :(
deekaspor replied to Izzy0525's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
we all learn the valuable lesson when it hurts. Don't beat yourself up. That small amount you ate will not hurt your sleeve. Just think to yourself, lesson learned. Keep up the good work. -
I did self pay. I went to Mexico. I still have about 10 to 15 more to go. It was just coming off so quickly in the beginning.

While I love that I am down 27 pounds and I know there are stalls, I still want to feel sorry for myself today. In the beginning I was losing a pound a day and getting on the scale was a joy. Now that I am closer to my goal weight, I am only losing 1-2 pounds per week. I hate the cycle of working out, then that making me more hunrgy than I would if I had not worked out. Ugh, just feeling sad today.

Hurting....when Does It End?
deekaspor replied to Luwanna's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You will get there! Around week 4 something changes and you start to feel like to old you, but skinnier. -
Thanks Dooter, I am back in the saddle. Going to the gym tonight and just going to plug away at it one pound at a time.

How Can You Tell When Youre Full?
deekaspor replied to jmatt's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Feeling full is a strange feeling at the bottom of your throat. When you eat give yourself time between bites because if you pass the full mark and over eat, it sucks:-) -

About The First Few Days Of Recovery
deekaspor replied to lovex5's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You will be very tired, so if you children are super young and require continual supervision I would say you need help at least for a week. You will be tired until about the 4th week.
