First calm down!! There is no way you will die of starvation. When you get to your goal weight or a little below, you know how to gain. Add some carbs more calories. You will be able to eat more food after a few weeks. And since you have a lower weight you wil not be dropping weight as rapidly. Breath in and enjoy the ride.

or try hibatchi. If you go for lunch their specials are CHEAP! you can get the same thing you get for dinner in a lunch portion for less than 10 bucks. And you can moniter what they put in your food. They always use the fat free or no sodium seasonings when they cook mine, and it comes with a salad (dressing on the side) with zuccini, broccoli, carrots onions. YUM! You can get chicken, Steak, or shrimp. and if you cant have rice they will cook it without. i get shrimp then have a few bites of the hub steak and daughters chicken (then take most of mine home for left overs hahaha) The fried and sauces are where the extra calories come from.
In this day and age where everyone is "on a diet" and restaruants are a lot better at catering to the customer.

I think we all fell lost in our bodies for a bit. It's crazy to me that some people don't recognize me. I did mourn my "fat" clothes as well. I have always loved clothes and had tons and tons. Now I am trying to figure out my new style. I have went from a 24 to 9 (OMG). I did most of my shopping at goodwill and Marshall's. I'm just not sure what I like about my body anymore besides its skinnier lol.

im almost 3 weeks out, i went back to the gym last week, my drain incision still hurts when jiggled too much so i have been brisk walking on the treadmill for a half hour or doing the elliptical, i started doing Water aroboics today, felt great but really tired afterward. Ive also been doing the arm circuit, my arms are really big and im afraid of all the loose skin and bat wings, so im starting the arm toning. Cant wait till my drain incision heals up so i can go to boot camp. It is offered 3 times a week at my gym.

Subway! Anything they make a sandwhich out of they will make you a salad! I had a meatball salad one day yum.
My favorite is the BBQ chicken one. And Subway is great cause they have every topping you could want on a salad!

I confess that I frikin love my sleeve and everything I gave up and the 6 hours of cardio I kill myself doing are completely worth it when you step up on that scale and you are under the 200 mark for the first time in your adult life.
I always wanted to punch my skinny friends when they told me "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" but now Im feeling them!!
I confess I have become addicted to shopping, exercise and sex to take the place of food. But that's ok cause I like getting good deals so I don't spend much, I am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to exercise and my husband has never slept so good during the day for the extra livin he gets (he works midnights)

I saw this little warmer thing at Walmart, it is like a heating pad i guess, it has little pockets where you put your hands, and it sits right on your stomach. i didnt get to check it out throughly enough but it didnt look like it has a cord on it, that might be easier than taking your heating pad you can just sit up with that on your tummy. It was 10 bucks, im going to check it out next time i have more time and let you know how it stays warm...

they ask about your life, support system, addications, eatinf disorders, coping mechanisims. The therapist who did mine said in 15 years only 2 of his patients werent approved. ! has a really bad eating disorder and the other was actually insane. SO i dont think you have too much to stress about. Unless you have 1 of the 2 i stated above.

The new ones aren't that great, i think they are really thin and feel like pantyhose. I would go with Underarmour or Nike. Worth every penny. You can find great priced Nike at Penny's some weeks.

I am 18 months now. I can eat all the filling from a 6 inch sub. Veggies meat all the good stuff. I can eat a 6 inch meatball, with half the bread. I usually cut the part that is less messy, then fold it in half. Going back to liquids for a few days does help. I had the flu for a week an only did liquids, once I was able to each I could tell the difference.
Also to put it in perspective, when I was 6 months I could eat 1 chicken wing. At a year I could do 2. Now I can do 3 and a bite of celery. Still pretty good!!

fluffylibra30 got a reaction from ploveda1 in Vsg & Hypo Thyroid
I was diagnosed with hypo hashimotos 2 years ago. My synthroid was up to 175. Since surgery it has dropped to 100. My doc told me the thinner you are it is possible you would need less meds, but it won't cure it, your always going to need some. Since my diet has improved, I stay active and don't get as tired. I still have days, mostly around PMS. It is a pain at first to get the meds right. My doc recommended if you have good insurance or can afford the synthroid, you can tell the difference between it and the generic Levothyroroxine.

I have lost 140 pounds with my sleeve in the past 18 months.
I have been on synthroid for 3 years, they have decreased it since surgery twice. YES, I do have to really watch my calories. My BMR is lower due to my slow thyroid. I am not able to eat a ton and not work out but I have not gained one pound. You just have to be more careful, and if you haven't yet start a vigorous workout regimen. That will help with your metabolism and make you feel better.
Also, you can not take any other pills with synthroid for 2 hours. No food for an hour before or after. I have started taking it right before bed.

I am struggling with this as well, I am still seeing my old body when I shop. I favor the longer shirts so my hips are covered and I have not yet ventured into a different style of jeans I guess it's just working through it. I love Kohls lol. I do favor American Eagle. I love the comfort and casual style.

I do not enjoy running. I am clumsy, my brain cant turn off, my lose butt skin jiggles and it hurts even with the under Armour BUT when I get stuck on a number or my pants need a little loosening I go right to the park. Nothing (and I do TONS of different things to exercise) makes me lose the inches like running. It wittles me down an inch a week. I will probably start running this week cause I have to buy a bathing suit soon.

I did every single thing I read in here, everything the doctor said to do and I still lost 1/3 of my hair. I used to sob in the bathtub holding it in my hands. It started about 3 months and went in strong for about 4 months. It was hard cause no matter how fat i got my hair was my pride. Now at 1 1/2 years out it is all growing back its about 4-5 inches long and all silver. How's that for irony? It seems every new hair came back grey.???? But it is very healthy and strong cause if the Vitamins. Not gonna lie it was a hard depressing time losing my hair and DDs at the same time.
