SOOOOO glad to hear that you are ok. I mean you are still not 100% but that you are ok enough to give us an update hope everything resolves soon and that you are feeling 100% soon. As far as your job, hope this doesn't affect it and that they understand. Good luck!!!

I have to change my ticker cause yesterday I weighed in at 196.8lbs dropped the .8 overnight!!!

Ok so my last weigh in here was two weeks ago (203lbs) because last week I was on vacay. I am proudly stating that I weigh as of this morning 196lbs on the nose! Yay! Crazy weight lost this week! I should go on vacation more often! I do have to say I was more active. I should try to do that more often.

Thanks for all of your support guys! Gonna update my ticker! My highest weight was 289lbs. I lost weight then gained some back. At the beginning of my VSG journey (Aug 2011) I weighed in at 268lbs. Surgery weight was 240lbs. Today I weighed in at 196.8lbs, lost some more!!!! Exciting stuff!

It took me about 2 months (I am 3months post op) i did just get a stomach virus and well I felt really crappy. Worried about dehydrating and I was feeling weak again. Feel much better now. I think as time goes by the more "normal" you will feel. You have to let your body heal, remember its changing on a daily basis (even if you can't see or feel it) but that causes stress.

I am saving a place for those not there yet!!! It feels great!

I had that problem. What helped was putting on a shaper ( not too tight though) it acts like an abdominal binder and keeps everything in place and your stitch won't hurt when u move

So I managed to pick up a stomach bug the day after my vacation. When I got home I weighed myself and scale said 199lbs. Woohoo onederland! Then all day yesterday and so far today as well I have been with diarrhea and not eating much (I get nausea) the scale now reads 197lbs. As excited as I am to see that number on the scale (I haven't seen a 1 in front of my weight in over 14 years!) I know I weigh 197 cause of the diarrhea. Should I even count that??

Yup!! Dropped a size too!

Oh I called my doctor, she doesn't think it's surgery related just stomach bug. I am trying to force liquids.

I have been on vacation in Hawaii this week, today is my last day on the island. I haven't weighed myself for a week. Last time I did I weighed 201lbs. Can't wait to see my current weight when I get home tomorrow. But my NSV is that I went PADDLE BOARDING!!! Something I would have never done!

I prefer bars too, the thought of a shake makes Me shudder
