kamrie37 reacted to Robyn Owens-Miille in Hair Loss For People With Already Thin Hair
Sometimes (many times) even adequate Protein doesn't prevent it. Our bodies just get shocked from the rapid weight loss and Hair loss is a side effect.

It will stop and eventually I hope the hair is even better than before. It's like survival of the fittest. All the weak hair is what sheds .

kamrie37 reacted to Darkkyss in Re-Schedule Surgery For 10/18 :(
I would call the Dr. and let him know nothing as been submitted. He might not realize the coordinator has not submitted the information or there was a mistake DONT let this wait. I had to make phone calls for my surgery and stay on top of the coordinator.

LOL at the thread title *sorry I have a dirty mind*
By day 3 post op I felt back to normal and now that I'm a week out I have zero pain and my incision doesn't hurt. I have 3 kiddos and have been able to do everything for them that I was doing before.

kamrie37 got a reaction from Banned member in When Did You Feel Yourself?
My first initial response after reading the topic head line was, "At night.."
One a serious note, it took me a good 3-4 weeks. The first couple weeks I was really tired and took naps. I never take naps.

I get it, it's terrifying!
Do it anyway. Do it anyway!
You will not regret doing it....you will regret NOT doing it!
Getting your stomach ripped out won't kill you, it will make you a badass!
It will give you back your life!

kamrie37 reacted to O.T.R. sleever in I Just Chickened Out
Sorry to hear this. I personally was more afraid of going the rest of my life without living than I was of a minuscule chance of not making it through surgery.

kamrie37 reacted to funkeechiggen in I Just Chickened Out
Not trying to be mean, but what about the horror stories of people who died from their obesity? Were those not scary enough to chicken you out of being morbidly obese for the rest of your life?
There are risks to everything we do. People die every day. A meteor could randomly fall out of the sky and hit your house while you're sleeping in your bed. Will that keep you from sleeping in your bed at night?
Don't give up!!! Make a list of what's important to you and why you wanted to have the surgery in the first place. Weigh the pros and cons. Take a serious look at where you will be in 5 years without having had the surgery and where you will be if you do have the surgery! IMO, the potential rewards far outweigh the risks.
Good luck with your decision!

Same here, how do those skinny ass people do it anyhow
I fell off my bike TWICE and have really got it bad now. Time and pain relievers is what it's going to take. Padded bike shorts help on the bike, perhaps they'd help in your situation?

Yes, Yes, my spin session/bike ride at the gym is killing my tail bone lately. I also rubbed it raw while doing incline sit ups, ouchhhhh.
