butterbean, what do you eat? How do you get such high Protein and low calories?

OMG! Ya'll shouldn't be making me laugh so hard 3 days after surgery.. lol

I don't know what to call this, but it is pretty good. I sauteed some cut up chicken breast in Pam and threw in some chopped onions. I put taco seasoning on it. Then I put some Tomato paste on it and added Water and salsa. Once it was all done, I pureed it. Put in a bowl and top w/ sour cream and guacamole.

I have foudn that walking was the best mode os exercising for me and my surgeon highly suggested that I kep moving. He pointed his finger at me and said to me, " You are not sick and instructed me to move about at home in 15 minutes intervals as long as I felt comfortable. As a matter of fact i was required to get up and walk several hour following my surgery. I was really glad to walk early as it made my pain easier to bare. By the following week I was able to walk from my house to the next block, which made feel like the character Rocky when he reached his goal at the top those long stairs!

I love my kitty trying to play with me under the bathroom door. Everytime I get up to go to the bathroom, she runs like the dickens to get in there. She love to try and get me under the door! This is my first kitty ever and I love her so much!

Thanks for the laugh. I've been gaining and losing the same 2 1/2 pounds for quite some time so I know how you feel!

I agree I have cat too.love him I tell my kids his the baby of the house and he actually answers when I call him baby.. even though he knows his name.. my kids and husband tells me I have that cat spoiled.. which I do.!!

I find since eating solids I've been more constipated. I certainly would like to go more often. Used to be a twice a day pooper! Now it's a chore to try to go. :/

I miss having kitties! My SO is allergic, and the neighborhood cats are so skittish. If those stray cats would only like me, they would be so pampered. hahahah

do they know what caused your leak

I started out pre surgery 220 and on my day of surgery I was 200. I was sleeved on may 15th and by June 15th I was 175.. but I am still at 175 as of this morning July 8th. I know not to be sad but the mind works on you and tells u this is it , no more weight loss. But with that being said I am definitely looking forward to that darn scale moving again so I can say aha! I told you so! ( to myself) lol

Ok, So I am 3 1/2 weeks out. I have only lost just under 15 pounds since surgery. I have not lost anything since July 1. I actually went up 1.4 pounds. It is so depressing, but I know it will come off. I just compared 2 face picts of mine. The first was taken at Thanksgiving last year. The other was taken on July 4th. Even though I have only lost 15 pounds since surgery, if I look at the whole journey so far, I am glad to be where I am at today!

Sounds really good and healthy. A few more days and I will try this. I am only 12 days out from my surgery.

You do look amazing! I look at it this way - at least your down 15 and not up 15! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more pics/updates on your progress.
