I don't start my liquid diet until July 15 and then on it for 10 days. I like protein drinks... I know weird. lol I feel badly for those who cannot stand the protein drinks! Good luck - it will all be worth it in the end! Hang in there!

Thanks so much for your post. It's nice to get glimpses of what it will be like after surgery! I had croutons in my salad for lunch yesterday, but I figured it was so minimal that it couldn't have been too bad? Yeah, carbs are a hard one for me... I do like the proteins portion though! lol Love steak and chicken! But, I am like you, I love carbs! I look forward to a day when my thought process of food is different. For now, I am just trying to make it through this holiday weekend... My sister makes a really great pasta salad that I cannot have (but have been craving!), and so she said she was going to make chicken salad instead so I wouldn't be tempted. Such a sweet gesture...Thanks again for your post!
