NSV ALERT! lol I went to Starbucks and you know they have the chairs with the arms outside. Well they used to be so dang uncomfortable because my thighs would be pushing on the sides. Well guess what?! I sat in one and had tons of room on each side! =DDD

Caffeine Withdrawals?
panda replied to southerngirl39212's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yea usually during your pre-op diet you can detox it out with the 3 days. I'm back on the stuff but I did go through withdrawal headaches before and a little bit after surgery. Hope this gets better. You shouldn't drink any this soon after surgery wait a couple months you'll be totally detoxed but If you can't live with out the stuff it's better to wait until you are healed. -
Eating Out... Restaurant... Fast Food.
panda replied to sabrina140's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The Taco Bell Fresco chicken soft tacos are 150cal. If I'm eating on the go I always get that also the grilled chicken snack wrap from mcdonalds isn't that bad either. I'm always getting my son a happy meal and if it's time for me to eat I'll grab the chipotle grilled chicken wrap; more calls coming in at 260 though. -

Fat Guys Mind In A Post Sleave Body
panda replied to pasquini's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
This kind of sounds like BDD, I'm pretty much having the same issue, my sis once weighed exactly what I weigh now and I do not remember her looking like I do she was never this BIG! Even wearing a size 14/16 I even remember her buying those sizes and now me being in them and even wearing her old clothes I see myself as huge compared to when she was this size. I don’t know what to do to help, just wanted to say I’m right here with ya. -
Awww! Congrats on your NSV!!! That's the best feeling I had a similar experience sleeping on the couch with my little one while visiting family, I thought it would be so uncomfortable but we both fit just fine =D yay us!!!

I for sure do not want to sound mean at all I'm trying to help. If McDonald's seems to be a problem for you, you should not be working there. There's always something else I know how trying times are now being a college student myself and working, plus I have a kid. If you really want this you can change things I know it's hard, but it'll be better in the end! Are you still tracking your food? If not you should start again it'll help you stay away from snacking. For stressful times, try doing something else besides first going to food. You might even want to try to write down how you are feeling and why you're stressed. Just getting things out in any form could help destress you! Hope any of this helped! Congrats on any loss you've had so far, you can get right back on track!

I think you meant Sept 2011 I was having a rough time week before last, did not work out had no motivation, was eating junk. But then I remembered why I got the sleeve, why I was working out before. I want to get to my goal so bad now. I have a new determination. I'm working out everyday, and sticking under my calorie goal and the pounds are flying off again. So what's I'm trying to say is, think about why you got the surgery. Think about your goals, and what you will have accomplished when you get there. Try setting goals little by little it's encouraging to hit them. Also think about how great it will be when you get to goal. Hope this helps!

Fell better soon If you want to try things wait until you're at least a 3-4 months out. I tried pizza at 3 and 1/2 or something, it definitely swells up.

Well I'm a huge believer in tae bo, even before I had my surgery I was working out to the dvds and lost 35 pounds. That was about 2 years pre-op though and before I had a kid lol. But now post-op I'm doing tae bo 5 days a week or more and he has strength training embedded in the workouts with cardio. It's worth a try. It works wonders for me. I got tired of just the treadmill I felt like I was getting stuck in a endless routine, and also felt like I was not working all the parts of my body, even with incline like you said. Try it out, you will see results, I'm dripping with sweat even though I've been doing it for a while now, every time I finish I still feel like it's a great challenge for my body. :coolgleamA:
