Thanks everyone! Only 6.5 hours until I gotta be at the hospital...I'm the first one of the day!!!

No enema, but after 2 week pre op diet I had 2 days clear liquid and then today is my surgery eve and I had to drink a bottle of laxative this morning...yuck! I feel a little weak but super excited! Hang in there! It does get easier and days will go by faster. I did cheat one day of my pre op and felt so sick. Now I've been on Clear Liquids 2 days and am having no problem feeding my son Cookies. I just try to keep in my mind how I feel being the size I am and how much better I will feel after my surgery...and thank god it's at 5:30am in the morning tomorrow lol! Keeping you in my prayers, stay strong you made it this far and yo are so close *hugs*

It's so motivating hearing from all you sleevers! My surgery is finally tomorrow morning...I'm a little nervous but more excited.

I'm also on pre op diet...I get a lean cuisine and a salad with fat free dressing.

When I had gallbladder pain it was just below my shoulder blades too, but also at the base of the sternum. I hope whatever it is the figure it out soon for you! It took 8 months and 4 visits to the er to finally get mine taken out. Good luck!

I'm 2 days into pre op diet and having surgery on the 26th! I'm so excited!!! Will be having it at NMCSD by Dr. Wisbach in San Diego. I'm just so happy...and hungry lol!

Thanks for all the great answers, I was starting to get nervous I was gonna have to wean my 14month old son. So glad to hear of the success stories here. I am on the pre op diet now in conjunction with my period I do have a decrease in my supply but I'm still pumping extra for him for my surgery day. Talk about weight lifted off my shoulders

I'm march 26! Going on day 4 of my 2week pre op...so excited that I'm finally taking control of my life! Hope those of you who have had your surgeries are recovering well

Since your going to the mtf with tricare it can take from a few months up to a year. They will give you a check list of tests and classes that need to be done. Out here in San Diego, ca at NMCSD I had to get a psych eval(3 visits), sleep study, upper GI, chest X-ray, EKG, labwork, pap smear, nutrition consult, bariatric surgery class(2 days), healthy weight class(3 days) and at least one support group! It took me 9 months but I knew it would be at least 7 because they wanted me to be at least a year postpartum...then it took another month because the nurse practitioner that did scheduling was on leave but I finally got my date for 3/26! One of the ladies in our support group had her surgery out there and looks great now Oh, and if you have tricare prime they cover all of it 100% I haven't had to pay a thing. 2 weeks here too! On day 2...just keep telling myself I can do it lol.

I'm on day 2 of my 2week pre-op diet. They have me on 2 shakes and a frozen meal of 400 cals or less. Thank god I'm diabetic so they added in a fruit or veggie snack...but I'm still so hungry lol!
