    Help.....

I agree...they make the best juice! It's the only juice my 14 month old will drink too lol. Other than that I get the ocean spray drink packets to mix with water since I'm water sensitive. I really enjoy the blueberry lemonade one.

    March Roll Call!

So I was out of plain Greek yogurt so used nf mayo and reduced fat cream cheese instead and I gotta say it was pretty good...to bad I can't drink a diet root beer with it lol! I was able to eat about 2tbls. How much is everyone else able to take in? Does anyone know when you can eat toast...because I'm craving an egg over medium with a bit of toast to dunk in the yolk.

    March Roll Call!

Don't have a recipe...gonna wing it lol! I was planning using the canned chicken I get from Costco with a dollop of plain greek yogurt instead of mayo, a few dashes of franks hot sauce and some blue cheese crumbles with a dash of salt and blend it in my bullet style blender. Just gotta get my son to sleep first...it's the first day we are home alone since my surgery

    March Roll Call!

I'm mid week 3 post op and can't drink plain water either anymore. I just make sure to always have drink packets with me...the ocean spray ones are soooo good, especially the blueberry lemonade! And for vitamins I take the vitafusion gummies...I just chew the heck out of them and have no problems at all...plus they taste like candy. Hang in there, it gets easier I'm on mushies and hate the bland taste too except yesterday my mom made meatballs in a Mexican style tomato sauce...and omg sooo good for the almost tablespoon that I ate lol! So I'm thinking more spices might be what I need. What frustrates me is the Carl's Jr commercial for the jalapeño patty melt...talk about head hunger today for lunch I'm gonna try and make some buffalo chicken salad with a bit of blue cheese crumbles and Greek yogurt...fingers crossed it comes out good!

    March Roll Call!

I don't know what was up with the weather out here...I'm just glad we are back to the normal low 70s Yesterday was beautiful and I went to the zoo with my family and husbands cousins family. The big plus was it was the first day I didn't need pain meds, the bad news was I overdid it and today my back hurts sooooo bad(previous back surgery). Other than that I feel great and am down 8lbs since surgery!

    3 Days Post Op

I would of thought I wrote this lol! I felt the same way at day 3. Luckily I'm able to drink protein shakes and think it really helps. If you have to be on clears maybe you can try the isopure protein drinks...they taste horrible IMO but it might help your energy. Just keep telling yourself it gets easier

    3 Days Post Op

It gets easier! Don't forget you can mix Protein powder into pudding. I'm drinking Premier Protein rtd cans that have 35g of protein a can...they are great by the way! And don't forget Greek yogurt is full of protein. I don't know how you manage water, I can't tolerate it at all.

    3 Days Post Op

I relate! I was sleeved on Monday at NMCSD San Diego Ca. I feel the same way but can't handle water. I've been using sugar free ocean spray packets and sf juice to sip. I'm also on protein drinks already but no yogurt or anything. Today was my first full day home and I'm very tired. It does seem to get easier to sip everyday and I do see the increase in fluids. I do still have gas and abdominal pain . The drugs in the hospital were so much better than what they sent home. Just ready to be able to play with my one year old a little more.

    Best Yogurt Ever! 8-)

My thought is the fage is a plain yogurt with the more calories and fat does have less sugar until you add in fruit....then your talking about an extra 2-5grams depending on your fruit choice. IMO I think I would stick with the dannon I already love plus it's only $1 at Walmart
  21. I'm at the hospital checking in for my surgery! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I want to thank all the previous sleevers for there knowledge and everyone pending surgery for all the motivation. Let's get this thing done!!!

    Today Is The Big Day!

Hi everyone! I'm doing really good in my hospital room on the 5th floor with a view of trees on the back side instead of the parking lot! I was stoked to see I have a single room with a couch, recliner and at least a 32" in size flat screen. Think they make these rooms nicer because I'm at a military hospital and our soldiers deserve the best, because down in labor and delivery the TVs suck lol! Then the AYMCA volunteers came by and brought me magazines and another tv with a blu ray player with a choice of tons of movies. Enough abouth the room lol! I'm feeling really good, so far no complications other then I didn't get the robotic surgery because there wasn't enough staff. My surgery team and hospital staff are just the nicest! I already did 2 laps around the floor. I also have a IV with Tylenol and morphine so pain is minimal. Nothing to drink/eat yet, until I pass gas, so I'm enjoying my sponge pop. Also my pre surgery weight was 221 not the 225 I weighed at my moms house...so yay! I'm just so proud of myself for taking charge of my life and becoming the person I know I can be. Thanks for all the prayers and support!
  24. The surgery is behind me now...and I'm feeling good!

  25. At the hospital!!! No turning back now...yay!
