Any cleaners by trade out there?
ProudGrammy replied to gomekast's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
gomekast always check with your doctor first, but................. your tummy needs to heal, its been invaded strenuous cleaning, lifting - moving around - bending, hard "sweat" work.... "probably" at least 6 weeks before you "should" go back to work but maybe, don't hurry back to work - important to concentrate on yourself and health if you feel better earlier, its not adviceable (IMO) to "stir" things up happy surgery on the 22nd speedy recovery good luck kathy -
Surgery was October 1! This is my first day home. Now the work begins.
ProudGrammy replied to chass's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
now the work begins. chass you said a mouthful!!!! its AFTER the surgery the fun/work starts follow all the rules you've learned drink, drink, and drink some more especially now - being fresh out from WLS right now - drinking as much as possible is even more important than Protein (that will come) never drink with your meals stop drinking 15-30 minutes before you eat don't drink for 45-60 minutes after you eat lots of other good rules too protein, chewing thoroughly, eating very slowly you are starting on the road to health, happiness and a longer life good luck kathy -

mrs.material - (you too Lisa ) welcome aboard ladies thank you for joining us can't have too many nice people like you two!!!! everyone here is nice (unless there not!! ) lots of good info and support congrats on starting your way to a healthier, happier, longer life with your new best friend - the sleeve many/most of us have an emotional rollercoaster on their way to being sleeved being excited, nervous - very common waiting for approval is miserable hopefully things will work out fine then you'll go through all the "hoops" tests/supervised nutritional diet - lab work et al this is a life long change in eating/drinking habits once you reach goal - "we" all know the harder part is maintaining but - if you work with the sleeve - the sleeve will work for you great road ahead of you............bumpy here and there - but what isn't??? best of luck to all you newbies kathy -
