@@MarissaSalvador congrats on having surgery last week sounds like you are improving on your water situation?? 70 gr of Protein is great BUT - at this early stage in your game water is more important than protein if you don't drink enough you may/might have problems popsicles are considered a "little" Fluid - but not much but i loved theml too!!! great for warmer temperatures now!!! they keep your lips wet/moist, making you feel great drinking isopure, any/all Protein drinks are great and do count as your liquids some/many people drink chrystal light to help their water situation others try to drink water at room temperature if they are having problems again, concentrate on the liquids first protein will come in its own time (but you are trying Protein shakes so thats killing two birds with one stone ) read the boards - older questions that might answer your questions you'll get a lot of good info here ask your questions too but we are always here for you remember, we are all smart but you should always listen to your doc/NUT before us!!!! good luck kathy

BEYOND FRUSTRATED - Wrong procedure code on approval letter
ProudGrammy replied to avs194's topic in Insurance & Financing
approval letter is for a band- getting the sleeve. @@avs194 soooooo sorry this happened i understand you must be/are upset/disappointed, MAD "maybe" cuz you initially spoke of the lap band, the confusion/mistake happened by the office/insurance doesn't really matter why it happened - its done and over with mistakes do happen that statement doesn't help you any talk to the docs office/insurance "nicely" i've learned that getting upset doesn't help the issue - even though THEY definitely screwed up!!! as "they" say "you catch more flies with honey, than vinegar!!" i "think" thats the right expression you "probably" have to resubmit the paperwork, or docs office does i can only imagine the stress/nerves you are experiencinge hope things get smoothed out/taken care of good luck kathy God Grant Me Patience Just Hurry Up About It!!!! -

Three days post op unable to find a good position to sit or sleep in. haven't passed stool yet @@ssbills i had the same issues with sleeping/sitting (i think many/most of us do ) i always sleep on my side - can't sleep on my back i placed a pillow or two in a "safe/careful" spot on my side, and got SOME sleep the first few nights at home within a 2 week period it sllllllowly got better each night, til i was back to "NORMAL" gotta work thru the pain/discomfort as with everything else in sleeveland, this issue will pass so will your BM situation/problem!!! sorry, couldn't resist!!! bowel movements, constipation, diarrhea are a common/frequent problem here on the board as with everything else "we are all different" - i was very lucky, no problems give it a week, hopefully things will "move along" since you didn't mention otherwise, hopefully other things are ok wishing you continued speedy recovery sweet dreams kathy -

@@Pookeyism hi Pookey always nice to see you i never heard of special "any classes" for overweight people i wish there would have been i think it makes so much sense to have classes gearing for the heavier person a class that you/me/we wouldn't feel somewhat embarrassed about being around skinny minis!! i do think "normal" sized people are ok about heavier people (why shouldn't they be) in fact i think sometimes they might think to themselves, "hey look at her workin out, improving herself" thats what i hope they think i never tried yoga i have balancing issues do to some physical leg/knee problems (i couldn't/wouldn't be able to do yoga ) i know/think yoga does help that kind of stuff, wouldn't work for me the meditation stuff et al - i could give it a try!!!! i have family members that participate and love it!! hope this helped your "curiosity" survey i don't mind being a guini pig as long as i don't look like one keep up your good job and hard work you will continue to do great!!!!! 70 lbs down!!!! you are aces!!! take care kathy -
