Surgery went well .. no complications - new beginning starting today @@supportive hubby you are aces dude some/many/most of us think you are a terrific guy being so concerned, excited, supportive for your wife, and your new life together all "non-supporter" family members, friends et al could/should take a page from your book it would be a best seller!!! i'm sure you will continue to be a "supportive" hubby for anything and everything in your lives BTW - do you have another cutie/wonderful brother like you???? ooooops, i forgot, i'm happily married!!! good vibes being sent to wifey speedy recovery kathy -

@barbmeow awwwwww bud great pics!!!! you look awesome in that lovely pink dress love that multi colored necklace you are wearing in your before pic ooooops, my mistake thats the dog you are much cuter happy surgiversary!!!!! if i had known, i would have "baked" you one of my special plain FAGE 0% yogurt mixed with fresh blueberries topped off with granola - yum yum!!!! ( I have once a day!!) I'm 2.5 yrs PO i DO remember/think of my "old" life on an occasion you name anything in "reason" i can now do it but............i still can't play the piano or juggle but of course, you guessed it - wait for it i never could do them pre-op either!! i never kept any of my old gigantic clothes (wish i had saved a few) A few months ago i went to Kohl's I purchased the same ol' terrible 2X elastic waist jeans that i always wore pre-op i knew exactly where they were in the plus section they are now hanging in the back of my closet just as a reminder of what my world was pre-op size 22/24 before WLS now size 6 was 235 - now 130 and standing (very tall)! You can't possibly know how wonderful, healthy, happy i am now Oh............wait a minute!!! You know EXACTLY how i feel!!!! "sometimes" my husband might hang up his own shirt periodically he'll say something like, "where have all the hangers gone??" then he'll say - "oh, you've been shopping again!!!" he laughs with me!!! i can see you look wonderful so do i!!!! remember - i am cute as a button well, not really!!!! then again LOL Life is Great !!!! you/me/we all deserve only the best!!!!! continued health, happiness for the rest of your longer life Kathy -
You's a coffee addict.
ProudGrammy replied to IdaliaMay's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@IdaliaMay i'm also in no way a coffee addict, but............ i keep my Dunkin Donuts Cup in the car i like to periodically go through the drivethru and get a regular coffee (sweet and low, skim milk ) USED to get a donut (pre-WLS) "MIGHT on a RARE occassion take ONE of hubbies munchkins" but not when i'm alone driving i was never a big coffee drinker the reason i like it more now........ anything warm/hot like that keeps my "little"tummy happy, and i feel full 40 lbs down good luck kathy congrats -

Slow weight loss

no intention of not following the program @@madwife2002 good for you great attitude 10 weeks 37 lbs is NOT slow "they" say a monthly average of 10 lbs is great the weight loss DOES continue after 6 months the first 6 months PO is the honeymoon period (where you supposedly lose a lot of weight) but............... follow the rules and you WILL continue to lose the weight I promise!!! Would I lie to you??? keep up the good work for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer life kathy congrats -
@@Angie413 exercise is always great can only help the lose skin situation - but no guarantee on how much it helps age has a lot to do with hanging skin, or not as much skin you look like a cute yougun from your pic that should help make your skin "tighten" up a bit more after you've lost your desired weight i always wonder why people have plastics so shortly after weight loss, not giving skin chance to firm up even at my age (i'm 60, please don't tell anyone ) "some" of my skin did firm up over a period of about 2 months or so but IMO i would rather have some lose skin, than be "heavy" good luck with jumping through "the hoops" prior to WLS kathy
