    Let's Get Real

@@chanale at 5 weeks, I was just starting soft foods - ie yogurt, cottage cheese, scrambled egg you can be curious about what we ate, but............ doesn't matter who ate what at the time period you are talking about(or any time) your doc/NUT have the final word on how YOU need to progress with food and everything else we ALL need to listen to our doc/nut at the beginning and end of day most docs/NUTS have different rules for many things (ie when you can eat certain foods) your doc does sound strict/harsh - but those are his rules that you must follow I can see you are a smart "cookie" by having WLS I'm sure you wouldn't stray from what your doc/NUT said, cuz he is the one in the know and you look very intelligent please follow HIS rules only- this should be the case throughout your travels with your sleeve wow - you've lost 31 lbs!! that is terrific keep up the good job for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer life good luck kathy congrats

    Working it out

@Roo101769 Hi Roo I do remember your post from earlier couldn't hurt to request a different trainer if they ask why, just say something like you would like to change things up and try someone else? (something like that maybe) you are paying alot of money - you should get someone that is more qualified (more knowledgeable) (msp) just my thoughts 8 weight machines now doing more cardiac too!!! - wonderful!!! its great that a co-worker, or anyone else (family, friend) comment on your new found weight they see you, they know that you were alittle heavier before, and they see the improvements you are making as far as strangers/other people - it will be nice when people notice how terrific you look but (easier said than done) don't worry or think about them they may or not have "mean" thoughts about you so..........who cares again easier said then done - but try to ignore others if you think they are judging you YOU know how successful you are doing, that is all that should count!!!! keep up the good work for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer life!!!! 96 lbs Down!!! kathy congrats

How Fast do the weight come ofg

@@toohot74akaelh2 you took the words right out of my mouth!!!! "ONLY" 21 lbs in 2 weeks is wonderful we all need to take the word "ONLY" out of our vocabulary some people might say they "ONLY" lost 2 lbs or 21 lbs - both are great! the alternative in the past was gaining ONLY 2 lbs or 21 lbs some people think right after surgery - and later on too - the weight is just going to melt off my mom called me two days after surgery she said in a serious tone - "did your underwear fall down to your ankles??" LOL - are you kidding me i tried to explain it does't work that way she told me she really thought it did "God Grant Me Patience, Just Hurry Up About It " You are doing great!!!! Keep up the good work!! kathy

    regain dream?

@@moonlitestarbrite that must have been awful - thinking you regained the weight in a nightmare i've had those horrible thoughts on ocassion but they were always in the day, when i could dwell on it more Starr Jones (from the show the view) was so successful with her surgery, looked great - i saw her on the tube and she had totally regained Al roker the weatherman also regained some - but i think he either took it back off Carny Wilson also took the weight off looking great - regained after she was pregnant this is very scary, seeing people gain the weight back but it keeps me on my toes that this is a forever new lifestyle we must ALWAYS watch our food intake, Protein etc. i think it is ok to "worry" a bit, concentrate on what we must do otherwise we might get lax and do the regain bit not gonna happen to you or me!!! (as long as we follow the rules ) you have lost 87.5 lbs that is wonderful keep up the good work sweet dreams kathy congrats

I Don't Want to Buy New Clothes In Plus Sizes

@@IcanMakeit did you keep any of your old clothes that became to small for you as you got bigger??? now many of those items might fit, since you are now getting smaller!!! any people use the expression they go "clothe shopping in their own closet!!" my sister gained some weight and i was able to give her some of my "old" bigger clothes ow she has turned around and given me some of her clothes that now are too tight on her, but fit be well. is there a possiblity you know someone you can do a similar swap?? otherwise - the above comments concerning thrift shop, goodwill, sales at walmart etc - way to go i was retired when i started my journey, so never needed to get all "dressed up" in nice clothes just hung around with my big big elastic blue jeans!!! boy how things have changed you've lost 82 lbs?? thats great!!! keep up the good work good luck kathy congrats
