This is something I read before I decided to have surgery. It was what helped me decide that this was the right option for me and I wasn’t doing anything less than what I deserve. It still rings true for me today. “This is a huge rant topic for me, so I will spare you all the long ALL CAPPED emphatic response LOL. This is my single question back to anyone who says I took the easy way out: Why should I NOT take the 'easy' way out? Seriously -- this is not a rhetorical question: Why not? Fat is not a moral failure; I didn't do anything Bad or Wrong, and I don't 'deserve to be punished' by doing it the "hard way" over and over and over again. The end.” That being said having the vertical sleeve gastrectomy was and is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I have never felt so good and been so happy. The weight loss has slowed, but it is still coming off every month. I had a small stall again this month where I didn’t lose for two almost 3 consecutive weeks; however I knew that I was still losing because in those weeks I had lost a complete jean size even when the scale didn’t move. Things are moving right along. Weight loss has slowed dramatically. There are times of doubt whether I will truley make it to my first orginal goal, but the math is simple. Keep calories taken in below calories burned and weight loss is inevitable. The good thing is although the scale this month showed little mercy the tape measure goes to show that there are other ways to keep track of loss. This was the first time I have also had a stall and a gain all in one month. I was terrified that I had bottomed out. Around this weight was as low as I have ever been in 2 1/2 years. The last time I dieted with Slim 4 Life this is as far as I had made it. I think my body just remembers getting down to this number and felt like maybe it should stop, but my mind is saying no way. I feel great and better than ever. I can run and jump and even run up and down a staircase without running out of breathe. Yet, I now am finding other flaws that before would have never bothered me. I can see how big I still am. I still have a waist of close to 39 in and around the belly button still 45 in. That is huge! There is still much work to be done and although the weight loss has slowed down I still am losing and 5 lbs. is nothing to be bitter about. All I can do now is step up my game and make it through the holidays. To hoping that the next month measurments in weight begins with a "1". Happy Onederland I am hoping to see you soon. 19. Congratulations, this is an amazing feat you have accomplished. WTG, on your great stats!
  20. Looking very good. Congratulations on all your success!
  21. You are the perfect pic to promote for WLS. You are simply beautiful. Congratulations on all your success!
  22. However if it works, it works lemon is great also. Switch it up throw in an orange or grapefruit too! I get crazy looks from some b/c I constently have a water bottle to my face, but it slowly becomes a habit and you forget that you hated drinking water so much. I never liked it. Actually I hated water, now it is my newest friend. I see a weight reduction on the scale when I keep my fluid up too!!

  23. Water Topic: The more I drink, the more I want to drink it. I am more thirsty now than anything. Try replacing any random hunger pangs you may have with water. Find what works for you. Small glass by small glass many times a day. Or try a bigger water bottle a couple times a day. Whichever feat is easier for you. I think that masking the watering with crystal light only makes it more difficult.
