  1. Well by the end of last week I lost those two pounds. I think I may stall or lose slow over the nest couple of weeks before my secret weapon arrives. Also, my PCP doc is having me come in for some testing. I may have low T. If so she may prescribe a topical treatment. That will hyper-accelerate fat loss but preserve all of my lbm. I'll wait on that because I don't really want 240lb of lean mass.

  2. I hit my three-week stall. Actually gained two pounds. Not even discouraged. I may lose those by weeks end. No pun intended but I'm looking at the big picture. In time I'll be right where I need to be.

  3. I can envision my new me and I LIKE IT!!!!!

  4. Did ya bust through your stall? I figure if there ever is a stall revert to a full liquid diet for a couple of days and see if that kick-starts some more losing! Keep up turning your Wishes into Reality!!!

  5. How ya doin' these days with the Sleeve?

  6. Cooops you're looking quite petite there! I'm ok over hereand in no pain at all (other than once I drank some liquid too fast).

  7. I'm doing good. How's your neck of the woods?

  8. I'm pain free and moving around faster every day. The surgery was error-free. As of Wednesday, down 11lb...

  9. Well I was thinking of Occupational Medicine. Maybe I'll change it to OccMed, LOL.

  10. Thank you and welcome to VST!!! This place is AWESOME!

  11. Hey there kiddo, lol!!! I got the name or rather came up with the name this way: I am currently a pre-med student with aspirations (pun intended) of becoming an anesthesiologist,

  12. Please let me know how it worked out with you and the Mrs getting simultaneous Sleeves. My wife and I were thinking of doing just that!

  13. 1) Have your doctor take your height with your shoes OFF. Shorter height + same weight = higher BMI.

    2) Guerrilla tactics. Ankle weights (c'mon I've seen worse), heavy clothing at weigh-ins.

    3) Have yourself weighed during your monthly. As you perhaps retain more water you'd essentially weigh more. Remember, height taken without shoes!!

  14. 1) Have your doctor take your height with your shoes OFF. Shorter height + same weight = higher BMI.

My doctor did this to me and my BMI went from 54 to 60 (and that freaked me out).

  15. Well I am and old pre-med with medical school aspirations. I want to be an Anesthesiologist. Hence the name N2B8R (intubater).

  16. Ok I found out my prior insurance didn't pay their portion of my gallbladder removal. So, I owe approx $600 to Dr Teng. No problem. Small price to pay for the VSG that I need. Sure I can go to another doctor but I really feel better with Dr Teng wielding the scalpel and laparascope.

Here we go!! Info seminar tomorrow morning at my job.

  17. I wish you continued success with the VSG. Let us all know how you're doing. I've only been here a couple of days and I already love this site!

  18. How are you feeling 2 weeks out? I hope all is well. Do you feel hunger of cravings? Are you adjusting well to a liquid-type diet?

  19. Thank you all. Laylasmojo, I've decided on Dr Teng as my surgeon. He also removed my gallbladder last August.

  20. You look absolutely FANTABULOUS!!! You go on wit yo bad self!

  21. Good morning, mrsk! You have been sleeved, yes? How has it been since? I am still in the preoperative phase of it all with a target date of November 30th. I wish you all the best.

  22. Current size: 6'3'' 430lb.

  23. Man you are doing it! We have similar goals and builds. I myself am a black male, 6'3'' and weight 430lb. I am in the process of doing my meetings, doctor visits and counseling. I am hoping to get the surgery done by November of this year. Congratulations on the success that you have had and may you continue to thrive.
