I had my surgery 1/5/11...so I am 2.5 years out!

That is so funny..I used to hate eggs..the smell even made me sick. Now I love them! Everything tastes so different to me. I have noticed the texture of food a lot more now. Like I love the taste of bananas but the texture now is hard to deal with. The sleeve is a funny thing...but AWESOME!

Just fill up with Veggies and lean protein. Stay away from those nasty carbs. If I get to the high part of my range...143-144 I cut back on the carbs. I sip more water and go right back down. I have in my mind not to go above 145 and do not let myself get under 138. Gives me some breathing room and I feel really good here. Carbs are the devil - lol

Same here...never ment never. I had to self pay. They would not even cover the excess skin removal after I lost the weight loss. I was so sick from it and they were pretty much :sucks to be you". I hate insurance companies!

Congratulations! You look wonderful! I honestly feel the mental benefits of the surgery are just as good as the physical ones! The best thing I could have ever done for myself!

I had my surgery 1/5/11 with Dr. Aceves. He is such a great surgeon and man. He really cares and wants you to succeed. All of his staff is professional and wonderful. It was the best life decision I have ever made. I went back for plastic surgery with Dr. bello and he even came to see me. He sat down with me and we chatted like friends. I had my sister with me for most of the time. She had to come back early though. She took most of my luggage so it was a little easier. It was not easy by myself. If someone could even fly in to just help you at the airport and to get home...You wont regret spending the money. I had Tummy tuck, muscle tied, Lipo, Breast lift and implants.

Yes certain things bring it on for sure..Asparagus and any stringy meats are a big no no for me. No more pot roast or BBQ. Some days I can eat grilled chicken and other days not. I honestly think my digestion is better on some days. I am 2,5 years out and I know the things I can not have and stay away from them. I still have those things that sneak up on me though.

I am 2.5 years out. I am actually below goal and have been for over a year. I gained back about 5 pounds (On purpose) and feel great at this weight!

I have to admit...I do at least twice a week. Some days I can eat certain things and then I have it a couple days later and NOPE...

Oh it is soo much fun! I still find it hard to walk thru the mall and remember I can go in any store I want to. I do have problems the other way now...some store do not carry my size and I have to shop in juniors. It makes buying work pants a little difficult but....I would not trade it for the world!

Have you called your doctor? I did not have much pain at all. The only thing that hurt was the gas. You should really go in and see him.

I went with Aceves..He and his team were amazing! I could not of had better care. $8750 in 1/2011.
