I am having surgery in Mexico and the surgeon said he has done a few reversals and that isn't not a big deal it just requires a little more time. He seemed pretty confident about it. It is costing an extra $1500 to take it down. Juuly 9th is my day... I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

I love reading posts like yours. I don't respond alot just alot of reading. I will be sleeved by Dr. Almanza on July 9th in TJ and it just doesn't seem real yet. I was first told that my insurance would cover the sleeve and done all the appointments to have it done and when it was time to schedule the surgery the insurance came back and said it was an exclusion on my policy. I felt so crushed... to be so close and then nothing. I had felt the whole time that it was too good to be true and then it was. I would have never considered Mexico, I was just like everyone else, when you hear Mexico you automatically think Dangerous, Unsterile ect..... Then a friend of mine and her daughter went and came back and said they would do in again in a second. They are 2 months out now and are doing great. I started reading this forum and felt so much more at ease. I feel like I have no worries at all. I'm just ready to do it!!!! I guess I still have that feeling that it is too good to be true. I recieved my passport in the mail about a week ago, I purchased my plane tickets and I will be calling and paying my deposit today. It should seem real but it really doesn't yet. Did you feel this way, am I just being silly?

Just thought I would chime in since in an okie too. I'm from Glenpool. I'm going to Dr. Almanza also. I will be there July 9th. I can't hardly wait!!!! One of my coworkers knows 2 girls that went to Dr. Almanza about 7 weeks ago. They loved him and are doing great. They too are from Durant. Her name is Tracie Davis and her daughter. I'm not sure of her daughters name. Its crazy how many go to Mexico to have this done.
